  1. My Eagles blew it tonight after clawing their way back. Oh well, correct the mistakes and move on. Time for Dallas next. Meanwhile this SF / MN game is putting me to sleep.
  2. Same here. Can't stand his voice at all. Whenever he sings it sounds like he's getting a prostate exam.
  3. The Nightmare on Elm Street films were all favorites of mine. Sad to hear of his passing.
  4. With Mission Impossible 5 out in theaters, I decided to watch the first two earlier this week as I hadn't seem them in ages. Mission Impossible 2 is one of the worst films I've ever seen. I had forgotten how terrible it was. Working on 3 and 4 later this week. I remember 4 being pretty entertaining.
  5. Associated Press Article via USA Today.... http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2015/08/19/jared-fogle-court/31979091/ INDIANAPOLIS — Subway's celebrated pitchman, ditched officially Tuesday as word leaked that he would be pleading guilty to child-sex and -porn charges, will spend at least five years in prison and pay $1.4 million to his victims after striking a deal with federal prosecutors, according to court documents released Wednesday. Jared Fogle, 37, of Zionsville, Ind., commissioned the executive director of his charity to produce pornography using at least a dozen underage victims, one as young as 6, the charging documents say. Fogle jetted numerous times to New York City to have sex with at least two underage girls while soliciting one of them and other adult escorts in search of ever-younger victims. “This is about using wealth, status and secrecy to illegally exploit children,” U.S. Attorney Josh Minkler said. And Fogle repeatedly made his travel plans for sex to coincide with his business trips, according to the charging documents.
  6. Interesting....Dan at InTheClouds sent out an Instagram a short time ago: "New lathe cut release coming tomorrow at 1pm est... Don't snooze on it there's only 50 available." Hmm..... Anyone have a clue what this could be?
  7. Lucky dog is right. I discovered Mitch by watching his Comedy Central special (I think it was in 1999 or 2000). Laughed like crazy. Unfortunately never had a chance to see him live. BTW, the unedited version of that Comedy Central performance is excellent. You can hear the jokes that fell flat, and hear the audience groan at times, but that adds to the magic that was Mitch. He kept going, he tried to pull them in, and finally they "got it", and he toyed with them the rest of the night. Brilliant stuff. I like Louis CK's standup, but still so-so on his show "Louie." I need to give it more time I guess.
  8. Transformers fan here. I'll post some pics shortly of my collection. Slinch, that's good stuff you posted !
  9. Thank God for YouTube and Netflix. I can spend hours and hours watching stand-up. I like classic comedians like Bob Newhart, Don Rickles, Rodney Dangerfield and the early George Carlin stuff, up through Mitch Hedberg, Brian Regan, Jim Gaffigan, Hannibal Burress and more. Never liked Joe Rogan though.
  10. I like 10's myself. Here are two of my favorites from InTheClouds Records:
