  1. Amen. Maybe it's just the difference from insurance payout and new van's cost. Or maybe they are just buying a relatively cheap van.
  2. intestines scene is pretty gross, but the wax part made me cringe and simultaneously wonder if it actually feels good. I'll never try it, but if anyone knows, feel free to inform me (i'm actually squirming in my seat thinking about it...ugh)
  3. the only ones I haven't read are Survivor and Lullaby. I really dug IM, but I never got a chance to read/ buy the "updated" version or whatever it was. I wish they would hurry up and make Haunted a movie. I would love to see Rant, but I don't think anyone couldl do it justice.
  4. I think those people are just mad because they are afraid to write witty, funny, offensive shit. Chuck is great. Snuff was really intriguing and I read it in 2 days. Rant took me awhile because I was jumping back and forward from one chapter to another. The great thing about it is that each chapter is an "interview" from a different person than the previous, so there are contradicting stories and perspectives. If anyone reads that and says Chuck P. is lacking anything in his ability, they obviously did not read that. I mean he's obviously not writing theories on wormholes and the space-time continuum, but he's crafting some pretty unique or interesing stories. Haunted is another cool example. It's kind of like the Saw movies, but ya know not all hack and slash. Well, not exactly anyway. Kind of.
  5. You may have already (as it's a classic), but if you are into some really fucked up shit and like not being sure exactly what is said for the first 2-3 chapters, you should read A Clockwork Orange. if you've only seen the film then forget everything you saw. It's pretty different (some similarities in events and language) and when you READ the story you get the whole point. Anyway, another goodie for your eyeballz.
  6. Rant by Chuck Palahniuk. It's one of my favorite books ever. It's just kind of fucked up, but not really depressing. I mean, it is depressing, but in an interpretive way. You could read it and just laugh constantly. It's all perspective I guess.
  7. Appropriate Response: "Who cares what color the dress is." (I'm butthurt because it is ONLY white and gold for me.)
  8. Season's 1-4 of the Small Talk Fave Arrested Development is $31.49 on Amazon today. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JQYUWSG/ref=gbrc_tit_r-1_8722_1faf0b2b?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_t=701&pf_rd_s=right-new-1&pf_rd_r=0DB5DEBQB4MX3NRJVW7G&pf_rd_i=20&pf_rd_p=1975288722 You. Are. Welcome.
  9. This is your subconscious assaulting you for hiding something from your mom that she will find out. What are you hiding from your mom?
  10. Dude, WaWa is the shit. We don't have gas stations like that in GA or in CT. It's only that last stretch of the drive from GA to CT that we get WaWa. My wife makes sure we always stop there. Always.
  11. I understand what you are saying. When I was deployed to IZ for a year, I worked nights exclusively. It was very inconvenient food-wise (they served dinner when I woke up at 5pm) but it was great for Skyping to the US because we were essentially on the same schedule, just 8 hours apart. Unfortunately we couldn't have beer... The Brits and Kiwis did, not US soldiers...
  12. I'm jealous that A) you just had 2 pints B.) at a pub C) on lunch. I am a hungry alcoholic who just got to work...#MuricanProblems (Also it's generally frowned upon when you drink during the day here. Fucking religious nuts...) HI everyone!
  13. When's the last time you filed an insurance claim on someone totalling your car and subsequently parking their pickup in your house? If you did, you would know that insurance coverage stops after a certain dollar amount. Filing on your own insurance raises your rates. Also, just a guess, but they probably wanted to use the money paid to close up that hole in their living room before their refrigerator was colder on the outside than inside. Or it could be that they are just greedy bastards, but I'm betting not.
  14. Yeah no kidding. These guys/ gal are rolling in it too! Walking in that venue, packed with 30 (!) people, wearing Versace and Armani. It was nuts. They were selling signed $1 dollar bills for $50. Not to mention the fact that they were raking it in on multiple album sales (at least 3 including me). I mean, it's a wonder they didn't just buy a tour bus!
  15. We are sorry, but the page you are looking for cannot be found. Fucking Death Grips...
  16. Mine's on the 17th (St. Paddie's) so that works too. Or it could ARRIVE on 17MAR, that'd be rad-er.
