  1. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! My wife called me sucker for buying this for like $15 or $20. HAHA. I can't believe that price.
  2. Maybe they are breaking a record for the slowest Black Friday announcement.
  3. Anytime. In all honesty, all I've seen is the same cover that is on the digital release, and because DG is no more I imagine Harvest will put as little into it as possible... (they do have TPTB to worry about) And apparently people are going to buy it even if it has a dick on the cover. Note: This is the worst-punctuated post ever and for that, I apologize. Commence.
  4. they look kinda like this: Not sure what this has to do with RSDBF, but...
  5. They were supposed to receive the green/white from the plant on the 12th (it was delayed), but as of the 14th they still hadn't. This according to a comments section on their facebook. https://www.facebook.com/#!/brokencircles/posts/10152511713316559
  6. It sure is. Between Wuxtry Records in Athens, GA (where I grew up) and Redscroll in CT (where I live now), I've been a pretty lucky dude when it comes to shops.
  7. Redscroll Records in Wallingford,CT always has good sales to coincide with Black Friday and RSD. RSD coincides with thier anniversary, so they really do it up in April, but I digress... Here are their deals: 25% off of used stock (they have a lot and it's a pretty good selection) 15% off of New stock (same: a lot and good selection) $1 used CDs (WAHOOO!) Spend $100 and get a Redscroll Gift (???- prob a tee shirt or something) On top of the specials, they often give away stuff (stickers, cds, tees, etc) on the RSD days, and they have a tent set up in the back to keep you occupied while you wait to get to the RSD releases. Not to mention when you leave (or while you wait) there are often food vendors and sometimes they hand out waters/ snacks.
  8. A possibility I hadn't considered. Good point. I wish it would show up. I'm usually one of the last to receive mine (being on the opposite end of the country), so I guess I shouldn't get my hopes up for today.
  9. One dude over at Fatwreckwiki has a black copy (as of 2 days ago in Nevada), but I don't think anyone else has stated they have received it yet. I'm hoping it's on my porch when I get home.
  10. mmmhmmm...suuuuuurrrrrre. That's what they all say. (I own "The Con" and "So Jealous," and they're "my wife's.")
  11. Kind of expensive. If it was 2LP at 45 I'd pay it. Not quite worth it for me. I do want that goddamn peelable banana though Oh well.
  12. Yep. The first time I was exposed to them was in this manner. They and Dads opening up for Joyce Manor in New Haven at some church. It was a really great show and I was highly impressed, almost as impressed as I was by Joyce Manor and the Desaparecidos the following night. What a week.
  13. sleeve looks awful, but how does it sound? I've never heard D'Angelo on vinyl. I bet it's great.
  14. Big Harp poster, Tim Kasher poster and sticker (appropriate), and Pujol sticker. Also the regular handwritten note that I have come to expect from them. Oh and a Rural Alberta Advantage postcard. Nothing crazy. Ususally they try to make the swag relevant. For instance, a couple years ago I ordered the Bright Eyes reissues bundle thing and I got a couple different posters from Digital Ash/ Wide Awake era and one from Cassadaga era. Then random stickers. Always Pujol. I bet EVERY person who orders from SC gets at least one Pujol thing.
  15. Nope, but it showed up today with the 2012 reissue of Burst and Bloom (that I ordred) and a bunch of swag. So far everything is dope. Everyone should be getting theirs soon.
  16. That sucks. To make up for it they'll probably invite you out to Fat Mike's house so you can find one of his records that's not the best, but that's alright. Then they will give you a mailer that you can put it in to shake it, BUT you only get to shake it once so it only gets messed up at the bottom. It won't be as badly or severely damaged as yours, but ya know fair is fair. Then they'll film it and send it over to TMZ because that's punk.
  17. Any word on it's actual release date (i know the CD and DL was today)? Or the fact that the Bandcamp pre-orderers were promised first dibs? Just curious if anyone knows. Much appreciated.
