  1. I got royally screwed with you shop a while back. Bought some snow gear from backcountry.com and they ended up sending it to youshop in 2 parcels so I got charged extra for that and the weight they charged me for was more than what was shown on the original packing slip. I try to avoid using them now but for some brands that is the only way to get them into the country.
  2. Yeah was the half price shipping they had going. Still if it was full price at just over $10USD per record I don't think it's too bad. Just a bit crap if you're only buying one. If you ever wanna go in on an order from over that way let me know. I'm always on the lookout for something to purchase
  3. ordered this and 3 other records and it was just over $20 shipping to New Zealand which is crazy cheap. Only took 7 days to get to the country also. Pretty damn impressed with hot topic on that front.
  4. Damn time zone differences and being on the other side of the world. It wasn't up before I went to bed and then when I got up it was all sold out. Hopefully there's another load of them going up otherwise it's paying over the odds for me. If anyone has ordered a couple extra then I would be damn keen to purchase 1-2 of them from you.
  5. Anyone tried these guys yet? Any word on any other sites that may be good for ordering from?
  6. Yeah man. Watching all the way down in New Zealand. Plus I also take that statement back given the empty netter the flames just got. Next year...
  7. Ha the flames have pulled hiller only 8 minutes in. Come on the 'nucks. We'll do it in 7
  8. Will be interested in how you get on with the latest order. I ordered some stuff from them at the start of the year and they charged me twice which was not a good start. That was after they said no paypal yet have it shown on the website. They then advised me they don't have the stock after taking payment. When I requested a refund they said it would be processed the next day however it took 2 months before they then said they couldn't refund me and I needed my bank to reverse the payment. Once reversed they then asked me why I reversed it and to pay them again. Safe to say it was not the best experience I've had with online shopping.
  9. Think I'll give up on this one for a while. Seems ridiculous that it's got to this point with the latest update from interpunk. To be honest we are not sure when the Sublime -40 Oz. To Freedom (Double) LP will be in, that number is just a place holder that our system created. So I would not follow what our system is saying in this case, the release date for the Sublime -40 Oz. To Freedom (Double) LP has been changed to TBA, and we do not know exactly when this will come in. It would be no problem to swap this item for another, or just move it onto its own separate order. The most accurate thing I could say is that it could be months before this comes in. I hope this helps, sorry again for any inconvenience.
  10. My order is now saying expected in stock in 22 days. I think I'll hold out for this but if it gets delayed again I'll cancel and wait for trh HT version. The release page in interpunk still says a release date of 27 January and does not advise of having to wait for it
  11. The response I got from interpunk on my order: We apologize again for any inconvenience. The delay with the Sublime -40 Oz. To Freedom (Double) LP is not because of a factor on our end. I spoke with my buyer again about the Sublime -40 Oz. To Freedom (Double) LP and it looks like there has been a licensing issue between the label and distributor, so the release date for this LP has been changed to TBA sometime this year.
  12. Try being from New Zealand and not liking this rubbish. People just think you're weird here if you're not into it but I don't see the big deal at all. Just sounds quite generic to me. Someone recently tried to sell of some lyrics she wrote on a piece of paper but funnily enough there were no buyers so looks like she's already going down in a lot of peoples opinions in NZ
  13. sorry thought there might be a chain/company that are California wide. City i'll be in is San Francisco.
  14. Afternoon all. Anyone know of any drop shipping companies in California or places that will accept deliveries for me for a price? I'm heading over there for a few days at the end of september and was wanting to purchase a few things off here and some other websites hopefully. However with no confirmed address of where I'll be staying yet it does make this quite hard. Are there companies where you can get something sent there and then pick up from them and pay per parcel? Any help is always appreciated. Cheers.
  15. Cheers Derek. Some good stuff there. Was a purchase that is being sent internationally, USA to New Zealand, so things certainly take time but I've never had anything take this long. Usually 2-3 weeks maximum instead of 7-8. I had opened a case with paypal (didn't pay as gift either) but I know the seller has sent it as they've now provided a copy of the receipt so it could be a case of waiting around until it shows up. If nothing shows up then really no one wins in this situation. Plus my partner is dutch so if she knew I let this one slip by then i'll never hear the end of it (waste of money, could've spent on food for the baby etc).
  16. bold move with a number of transfers still up in the air. Who you picking to take it this year? It could almost be any of the top 5 given the way some of the transfers have gone
  17. plenty more but I figured I would hold off and drip feed them over the course of a number of years.
  18. Sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forum however it seemed like the only place it would fit. I am wanting to know what peoples approach is when vinyl they have purchased doesn't show up. I'm sure this has happened to a few people around here, maybe the postman got a little greedy and decided he wanted it for himself or maybe it was simply lost in the mail only to end up in that big storage the postal companies have? What do you as a purchaser do? Write it off as something that happens? Lodge a paypal dispute? Or if you've paid for it as a gift, come to an agreement with the seller? If so, what sort of agreements have been reached? As a seller, what have you done? Ignore the buyer and put the blame onto the postal service (the company, not the band)? Met the buyer half way with a refund if no paypal dispute is lodged? Do paypal come to the party if you have a receipt for the postage? Interested to know what people do in this sort of situation? Cheers.
  19. Even in that state it'll still sound better than the last two albums
  20. good stuff man. that has now let me in on a couple albums I didn't know were coming out
  21. Not sure on the production. Didn't realise there was an original and a late production run as there isn't much info around on the web. I did see they were looking at a new version but yeah that website is quite old now. Still I seem to get some nice sound out of it so I'm happy with it. Haven't been able to find anyone that will send a cover to New Zealand and as you can imagine, these don't come up very often, if ever in little old NZ.
  22. Picked up the Revolver Rebel Turntable. Going to need to get a cover made though as the little one has already tried to get her hands on it.
