  1. Not sure if this was posted anywhere else but Sargent House is having an auction on some test presses which include this and Mandala, as well as many other albums from their great catalogue. http://sargenthouse.com/rare
  2. Grabbed a Murky Eye and am super stoked. This is definitely my most anticipated album of the year.
  3. I don't know if I have seen a release date - just saw it was available to pre-order through their site. The mozes/roland split is pretty sweet too.
  4. I think my favourite Burger release so far has been Levitation Room (standard flower-psych stuff) or The Lemons. Lots of good stuff this year though - DVG, Summer Twins, Seth Bogart (saw this live and it was psycho), Smoking Trees and Tracey Bryant are all good. Can't wait for Thee Commons and Mozes/Firstborns new albums later in the year as well.
  5. I can't wait for this album. The two LPs and Live album are both amazing and all of the music since Commune has been really fun if a slight shift in direction.
  6. I finally got around to listening to the releases from last month and they are all so good. Mountains & Rainbows is so fun and good - after first listen it might be my favourite non-Oh Sees release from Castle Face. Useless Eaters and Male Gaze both slay as well, very natural follow-ups for each.
  7. That is great news. Bleeding Moon was one of my favourite Castle Face releases in the past couple years.
  8. Just saw Oh Sees at Levitation Vancouver and they absolutely killed it. It was my first time seeing my favourite band so obviously I am biased but one of the most intense and fun shows I have ever seen. They played a couple new songs which sounded amazing. On that note, I came home to my pick up notification for the Live in San Fran LP and can't wait to revisit the crazy experience.
  9. Rx Bandits were my favourite band in high school, and this is actually the first LP I ever owned - can't believe how much the price has skyrocketed. I will gladly buy another copy of this, and actually wouldn't mind a new pressing of Resignation as mine is slowly starting to develop a warp.
  10. It seems like they have been on a ridiculous roll lately, even more than normal.
  11. I got a clear. I would imagine somebody has a ton in their cart - the same thing happened when they did that Ty reissue. The other releases are Mountains & Rainbows, Useless Eaters and Male Gaze. I am not familiar with M&R but Useless Eaters and Male Gaze are both dynamite and their Castle Face releases have been on point. Also Woodhouse recorded the Male Gaze album and he is such a beast. Too much for me right now but if you can order all 4 for 80 dollars ($12 discount)
  12. Live in San Fran is up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amongst others.
  13. Agreed - I don't think anyone is even really coming too close to them right now. King Gizz are on the right track, and I think if WAND keeps up their progression they could be in the conversation. Even someone like Ty bows to JD's creative force.
  14. new song rips so hard - i am growing to like this incarnation of the band more and more every time I hear something new.
  15. They have something recorded for that already right? Pretty sure I read that somewhere.
  16. Say good bye to your wallet. Easily my favourite label for quality music and super cool variants. This has got to be a 45RPM right?
  17. Shut it down boys - Thee Oh Sees Live in San Francisco is coming and it is a DOUBLE LP!!! http://pitchfork.com/news/65389-thee-oh-sees-announce-live-album-share-web-listen/ No doubt this will be amazing - the Live series is absolutely unreal.
  18. I just picked up a White copy from Bleep. What an album.
  19. New song rips and can't wait for this. Does anybody know what the logistics are for the band? Kind of sounds like Ty on drums and Moot on guitar, but it could go either way for me.
  20. That Emu looks really nice - very happy that is what I ended up with. My copy of Paper Mache came like a month after the release date so I am not holding my breath on getting this soon. The record absolutely rips though.
  21. I have only listened to it a few times so far but I dug it. about as much as Images, if not a bit more. Going to see them twice this summer and really looking forward to it after hearing the album.
  22. Great band and I especially dig anything with Woodhouse involved.
  23. I would love a repressing of both these albums, and a new batch of the super cool shirts on the bandcamp.
