  1. Differentiating "por" and "para" is one of the hardest things to learn in Spanish as a non-native, hahaha. I don't think I fully grasp it yet, myself, and I've been studying for like 4-5 years now.
  2. "para" is usually used "for the benefit of," kinda. It has a more direct relationship, while "por" has a more circular relationship. "Por la cena" to me, you would only use to mean "by means of." "Por la cena, no tengo hambre ya más." But I could be wrong. Spanish has a lot of weird phrases and quirks that make no grammatical sense.
  3. Hm... I'd use para. No sé lo que quiero cenar. Tal vez Vienna Sausages.
  4. No better than the people who think AAVE (African American Vernacular English) is "just broken English."
  5. Ugh, I hate that. Like... They live literally an ocean apart. You really think they're gonna speak exactly the same? Lmao.
  6. Makes sense! Haha. For the longest time I thought Canada was just wholly bilingual.it wasn't until recently that I learned there are mainly English-speaking parts and French-speaking parts.
  7. All of my language learning comes from in class or online so I'm always waay better at writing and reading than speaking and fuck listening. Especially with Spanish.
  8. Man, I remember in middle school wasting all my time on uncyclopedia, and the much more offensive Encyclopedia Dramatica. Thanks for reminding me of this.
  9. My sister used to make bomb-ass oatmeal cookies with choc chips instead of raisins.
