  1. Do you like tea? I used to drink waaay too much milk and it caused some probs. I discovered tea and that did the trick. I always hated soda, the carbonation is just... too much. It almost hurts. Here in Louisiana we use the word "Soda" a lot.
  2. Not the whitest of whales but Dodecahedron's self-titled has been hard to find at a reasonable price ppd.
  3. Just listened to Sol Eye Sea I by Irepress. Such a rewarding listen~
  4. Prolly should'a done this by now, but: Real name: Eli Favorite Bands: One for each genre, I guess: Between the Buried and Me (extreme metal in general), Circa Survive (rock/post-hardcore), Deathspell Omega (black metal), clipping. (hip hop, though Run the Jewels might take this one), Lydia (softer music), God is an Astronaut (Post-rock), The Story so Far (pop punk). That's about it, but like most people on here, there are many other bands that I hold very dear to me. What's your Facebook/Twitter/Tumblr etc.?: tumblr is http://darcx.tumblr.com/ Hobbies (outside of record collecting): Video games (rarely these days, unfortunately), learning languages. Play in a band? Run a record label? Link us!: Nah. I do play drumset though. Random things you want us to know about you: I'm in college and work at a gourmet hot dog place in New Orleans.
  5. Another late night bump. Also, thanks David! I appreciate your words. I've sold one record in the past and I made an error in the packaging and the turnout wasn't so great, so I really don't want that to happen again, haha. I felt so bad. v_v
  6. Totally subscribing! I literally started the video saying "I don't think I'm gonna finish this," and I ended up finishing it. Really glad I checked this out.
  7. Shit, man, too much stuff happening in the vinyl world for my wallet. But yeah, if there's just a colored variant being sold somewhere for cheaper I'd rather pick that up.
  8. Shit, I should not have jumped on this so quickly. Ugh. Hopefully SRC ends up cancelling and refunds me 'cause if they do I'd gladly order from somewhere else.
  9. Hey guys, I accidentally have come across two different copies of this record and as I don't care for variant collecting, I'd like to sell one of them. The one I'm interested in selling is the cream or "bone" pressing. It's a gatefold, with an insert of the lyrics. Plays well jacket looks fine other than very slight wear-and-tear on the spine; I'd say its condition is Very Good to Near Mint. My price is $18 shipped, I live in the US. I can offer pics upon request. Also I'm a little inexperienced in shipping records, so although I do know how (use LP mailer, bubble wrap, place vinyl in inner sleeve outside of jacket, etc.), I'd really like it if you give me details on how you want me to ship the record, just so I can be more confident. If you have a trade offer, let me know! I'm not in a dire situation for money, so come at me with them. While I'm mainly looking for my wants listed in my signature, if you think I'd like something based on that list, I'll hear you out. Thanks!
  10. Also, the Colors Live RSD pressing is red/1400, blue/100, just to let you know!
  11. God, I hope so, haha. I'm especially perturbed for Juturna since Equal Vision's idea of celebrating its 10th anniversary was "Hey!!! We *fouund* 20 Juturna LPs in our warehouse! Here they are for sale! OH! Those sold quick. Here's a quick giveaway because we saved three of them."
  12. I definitely should have reworded my question... I meant to ask if there are any other represses in the works, as any pre-Violent Waves Circa Survive LP on sale at discogs is at a ridiculous price.
  13. I looked on a lot of sites that were posted on that thread about online RSD-leftovers for sale, and couldn't find any. I'd love that PBtT 7"..
  14. Oh, surely this will contend with my misery, So I begin hacking through flesh and bone with fine cutlery. Now surely this will amend all my dignity, And as this weight is lifted, I'm now content as an amputee.
  15. Some of these might be listed already, but I wanted to do a little blurb on all the record stores I've been to where I live: New Orleans: My favorite: The Mushroom on Broadway St. https://www.facebook.com/mushroomnola?fref=ts They've got a pretty nice new section, and reasonable prices (for the most part). Their used section is organized by genre, so that's nice. A lot of people's favorite: Euclid Records NOLA https://www.facebook.com/EuclidRecordsNola?fref=ts HUGE selection of used stuff, also a crazy amount of 7" upstairs. It's ridiculous. As they're probably the most gone-to record store around here, some of the stuff is misplaced (in the wrong later, etc.), but they, too, have a good selection of new records and good prices. The only reason I like The Mushroom more is because they cater to my tastes a bit better. Jim Russell's on Magazine St. Do not go on a hot day. You will be sweating on anything you touch. Used records only; be prepared to see some bad handling (eg records stacked on top of each other -- quite high), and bad organization. You'll find some interesting stuff there, I'll give'em that, but it's not my kind of record store. People are nice though! Skully'z on Bourbon. This is very small and tight space, but they have a surprisingly large collection of both new and old vinyl! I was pleasantly surprised. I haven't been there enough to say more, but definitely plan on going to this one if you didn't spend all your time at Euclid or Mushroom.
  16. Has there been any attempt to repress any pre-Violent Waves Circa Survive records?
