  1. It was overlooked by myself for the longest time until someone on another board pointed it out and I'll always be grateful for that. I need some King Crimson wax.
  2. After watching any Foxing live video I'm so pissed at having never seen them.
  3. Don't worry, I didn't know the name for the longest time. It's just circumstantially funny.
  4. How many people here have tried to listen to that Adult Jazz album in my top 10 list btw? I'm really curious to hear others' opinions on it. If it helps, it is not a jazz album. I love jazz, but I know that not everyone here is the biggest jazz fan. It's like weird indie rock. I really don't know how to describe it. I can't recommend it enough.
  5. Will get to when my laptop is done with its unprecedented restart-update.
  6. The Saddest Landscape is definitely a band I have waited too long to listen to. It sounds like that split with My Fictions (of whom I've never heard) would be a good place to start.
  7. Reasons I didn't realize how awesome music was until later: Stuff on the radio never interested me, friends listened to music I just could not get into, and I didn't learn how to discover music on the internet yet. The only instrument I played at the time was trumpet, and I didn't know ska was a thing. EDIT: Also, dad was a big music fan, but only dad rock. Beatles, The Who, etc. I heard it all the time and it just never resonated with me.
  8. It is weird, huh? The only way I can explain for myself is that it's just how it happened.
  9. Based on my personal experience, SRC is fine every now and then just don't do pre-orders, and realize it's your last resort.
  10. Yeah, like, I know I'm still 20 and all, but I didn't start taking music seriously until I was 17, 16 maybe. Before then, allll I listened to was nostalgia rock and metalcore, maybe some deathcore acts. Almost all of which I look back on and think they're bleh. Lydia, BTBAM, Circa Survive, Unexpect, and Death are probably the only bands I liked in highschool that have still stuck with me, tbh.
  11. The Devil & God is the only album by them that I enjoyed. Deja Entendu and previous couldn't catch my attention, and Daisy just wasn't as interesting as TDAGARIM, which is definitely a pretty great album in my book.
  12. Oy. I've never had to do something like that, but damn. Sweet & Sour chicken and Honey chicken are the only Chinese food I need. Oh and there's a place on Airline that has this really good seafood thing.. I can't remember what it is right now.
  13. I don't have a reference point! I said this in small talk. The albums I was listening to more than a few years ago I think are shit now. The albums in my list I can confidently say will stay with me. In the end, I truly, truly don't know, but it's literally what I've got for now, haha. The albums that I don't think are shit that I used to listen to still don't get listened to these days. Linkin Park, for instance. Kingdoms by Broadway is another example.
  14. Don't worry there's an album on my list released last year (Adult Jazz). I stand by it, though. If it wasn't for this board I wouldn't've found out about HRVRD. That album is definitely incredible. Was boring on the first listen, and then incredible out of nowhere. You reminded me to make an honorable mentions list! TFoT - Doppelgänger Lantlôs - .neon, and Melting Sun. Circa Survive - On Letting Go (would be on top 10 if it weren't for Juturna, for sure) Between the Buried and Me - Alaska I Wish My Brother Rob Was Here - milo Mr. Bungle - Discography, honestly
  15. To be quite honest, I hope the day doesn't come that I no longer want to listen to Under Soil & Dirt by The Story So Far.
  16. Man we have a Guinness bratwurst where I work that tastes heavenly.
  17. Here we go (in no particular order obvs): Between the Buried and Me - Colors Lydia - Illuminate Circa Survive - Juturna Death - The Sound of Perseverance God is an Astronaut - All Is Violent, All Is Bright Irepress - Sol Eye Sea I La Dispute - Somewhere At The Bottom... Unexpect - In A Flesh Aquarium Thank You Scientist - Maps of Non-Existent Places Adult Jazz - Gist Is
  18. I discovered them after they had announced Dealer. v_v
