Has anyone ever had a dream that somehow has to do with the message board? The other night I had a dream that my girlfriend and I were exploring the US and we were in California at the time. So we were just walking around and then noticed a store called "Vinyl Collective" I thought it was really strange and so my dame was like "Hey let's go check it out". Then when we went in it basically looked like an office and you just asked for the records you wanted and they would look up in their computer see if they had them then go into the backroom and get them. So my girlfriend wanted a copy of "Transatlanticism" (which is weird because neither of us like death cab). Then I started striking up a conversation with the people behind the counter and it turned out it was people I knew from the board (don't remeber which ones). That's about all I remember from the dream. I thought it was really strange and the other thread about vinyl nightmares sparked my memory of it.

For me it's Tom Waits - Bone Machine. No idea on pressing info it pop's up on ebay sometimes. I saw it go once for $300 with a 10 inch of goin' out west. There's no way I could justify that, but I need it. I'm so close to completeing my tom waits collection.

Man this is a great album! I saw it a few years ago but passed on getting it, I really should have got it. Their cover of "My baby shot me down" on it is awesome!

He also has a great knack for overall album construction. Btmi albums all have a great flow. Especially to leave or die in long island with recalling the melody's on the last song. Also on get warmer the song get warmer how it just builds up to a huge crescendo and then goes into the short acoustic song The last party. It just feels like a great culmination of the album.

Having never actually sat down and listened to an isis album but meaning to and knowing when I finally do I'm going to love them I should really get this when it goes on sale. If only I didn't just spend a lot of money going to toronto and london this weekend. Basically I'm thinking it's between getting this and getting tickets to Bonnaroo. I still haven't broken my Pearl Jam cherry and it's about time I think....
