the Yamaha R-S202 is in my price-range but this looks very minimalistic and doesn't have actual speaker connectors.
What do you mean by "actual"? They're right there in the middle of the back of the unit. Don't buy that crap though.

They are not literally the same, but they will have similar spec's because of a shared price point.

Talking about ordering a $25 cd and ruminating again about a new TT in the same post. Peak Gumbo has been reached.

Picked up the Eight Bells because they're good.

I think the bot got his answer.

I expect bands would use tags that a would be recognizable to a wider audience than the super-niche post-rock fanbase. Can't hold it against them.

I just wrap mine up.

I'll just assume you haven't heard about his table.

"New" doesn't mean clean. Not only do the records have residual chemicals from manufacturing but they also collect fibers and dust from the paper sleeves and inserts. (Edges of freshly-cut paper products produce a lot.)

Came across this band today, Palehorse/Palerider. Although their Bandcamp uses tags like "Doom", "doomgaze", "shoegaze", alternative" & "psychedelic", there are definitely post-rock/metal elements here. I think some of you would dig.
Good find. In my neck of the woods so I'll have to keep an eye out.

Ah yeah, that's basically what I assumed it was.... the tracking force on either side, and making sure it's aligned at 18 degrees and all that.
If it's off slightly, is it REALLY that big of a deal though?
Intriguing. Weren't you recently concerned about the ability of straight tone-arms to track round records?

nice, there is also a tap house in your area across from summit music hall/moon room (decent venue) but the name escapes me right now
I'm assuming he's talking about the 1 up on Colfax. But yeah, that tap room across from Summit (also forget the name) is legit.
Also, South Broadway is a good neighborhood to check out. Good dive bars/venues (3 Kings, Hi Dive), restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Personally I prefer that and Colfax over LoDo.

Just get a Uturn and then buy a used amp and speakers.

It's fun for the music, cameos, and a young Kyra Sedgwick.

Looking forward to it but that is one annoying album title. Inquisition would be proud.

That 2nd one I can't tell if it has RCA inputs

Well, do some basic internet research and narrow it down to a couple of options to run by us.

You were already using pronouns.

Sold on it because of the quality of the Pelican release. (Bundled it with the new Astralia to get free s/h)
