  1. I think that may have stemmed from a CSI where they caught a murderer by using the grooves in a piece of pottery being formed while plotting the crime. I remember it, too.
  2. Oh my gourd. I can make my own vinyl(s)! http://www.amazon.com/Norpro-Cast-Aluminum-Tortilla-Press/dp/B00004UE8E
  3. I'm not sure what is up with their tracking. It used to be even worse if I recall correctly. If you can imagine. It was like they had someone sitting at a computer randomly generating meaningless numbers to send to people just to screw with them.
  4. The Velvet Teen - All Is Illusory - Black/Silver AsideBside (out of 300) Sorority Noise - Joy, Departed - Coke Bottle Clear (out of 300) These have shipped together, I'm guessing. The package is still in CA according to tracking so it's going to be a minute before I have them in hand. Unless this tracking is as reliable as usual and they're actually at my door or possibly Thailand.
  5. Totally screwed the pooch on this one. Had it in my cart for a while flip flopping over which band to choose and ended up forgetting to actually purchase it. Staff from JNR posted via Instagram that someone in EU bought a whole set and it was 1300 with shipping so there is at least one of each.
  6. I definitely like your theory better than mine. Here's hoping I've got some gray mail waiting for me later.
  7. Nothing in the mail for me. Wonder if maybe they mailed *just* the first 200 out? Dangit.
  8. I am both intrigued and revolted at once. Also disappointed none of the trials were called Testitos.
  9. I've not posted or even browsed the 10c forum but I've gotten the impression through reading this board that your're correct. On one hand it's awesome that people are still so passionate about the group. On the other it's not.
  10. In case anyone thought I was making a dig at those that took the plunge on the singed LP, I wasn't. I guess it could have come across like I was knocking it. It's a cool thing to own for sure. I joined 10 club this year to see what it's about. I'd been a member ages ago before they got into the bootlegs and all that. Ended up not going out to a lot of live shows which was the benefit of the club at first so I cancelled. Hoping to get in on some PJ goodness at some point. I totally missed that warehouse sale on RSD. Anyway, I'm rambling. Suffice to say if it wasn't so expensive I'd probably have grabbed one up, myself.
  11. Been listening to Pearl Jam since they started but I still don't think I'd drop $500 for a signed LP. Maybe because I'm not in college anymore. Maybe because I know how many records $500 could buy everywhere else. It's the second thing.
  12. I'm going to assume it'd be easy to. Mostly because it appears as if she wouldn't remember she doesn't like anyone.
  13. Hah, nah. Lil Bub is famous simply for looking mentally disabled all on her own. Like Grumpy Cat, but less cantankerous.
  14. How has this not broken the internet? It's DeNiro with Lil Bub for Pete's sake?!?!
  15. If I've learned anything today it's that googling "celebrities with cats" is the best thing I've done for my life since I splurged on a second cup of coffee this morning.
  16. My attack kitteh knows karate and will fight you in your face!
  17. Players gon' play. Hazers gon' haaaaaaaaaaaze. Seriously though, tell me more about your number 2.
  18. Not a critic, but every time I mail a record out and I get this one particular guy at the post office he's always got some comment about records and how no one knows what they are anymore or whatever. It's only annoying because I'm there to mail a record, to another person who wants the record which I've done lots of times with his help. Apparently there are at least two people per visit (three including him) who are aware that records exist still.
