I saw this kickstarter checking out my FB yesterday, too. I guess it's cool to watch, but how many people watch their records spin while they play? Is that a thing? Maybe I don't life right.

My copy arrived today. Haven't listened yet but I have to say it was one of the best packaged records I've ever been mailed. Came in a box the size of a small pizza with lots of support cardboard inside. Impressed me anyhow. Hah.

Suppose the order numbers will still be somewhat irrelevant until that first gray record is unboxed. Well not entirely. We can have some fun waiting by putting ourselves in order. Like CSI only with records.

So it's pretty much a wait and see game to find out what color you receive? How deliciously torturous.

Does it increase with each album or max out because I was about to pull the trigger on two LP's and they wanted 8 almost 9 dollars shipped to VA. Booo.

Turtablepaloozamageddon. It feels like a baby boom but with electrics. Next will be the flood of pics of all the new "babies." Wonder what they're going to do with anything leftover? Or are they just going to close up shop once everything's sold?

Is it unusual for the band's store sight to not know how or if an album is being sold elsewhere? Licensing and whatnot should prevent it, correct? It's odd and will be disappointing if there are more than 500 but truthfully I'd order it anyhow because WANT.

I literally just received shipping/tracking info. Also looked around a little last night to see if there were differences in the albums that were being touted as /500 and could not find a thing.

On one hand I'm more confident I got one. On the other...whatthefuck? Maybe there is a perfectly good explanation for the confusion. :/

Was in a coffee shop this weekend playing Blush and fell in love. Excited to grab this although I checked out, got a confirmation then went back to the original link and saw it is now sold out. So either I nabbed #500 or I'm going to be receiving a sad email at some point. Gah.

This sums up my thoughts pretty succinctly. Happy to see Grave Dancer's Union show up, too. Sort of on the fence about ordering from New On Vinyl but that's a thread for another, errr, thread.

So essentially they're branding new release tuesday to keep it from becoming friday. Maybe? There are just so many words.

Debut, Biophilia, Medulla and Vespertine all showed up from Rough Trade yesterday for me. No shipping notification whatsoever but all arrived in perfect condition so there's that. I had already gotten Volta earlier from them. Regrettably, my equipment is by no means a barometer to set sound quality with, but I'm happy. Although these represses sure do feel flimsy.

This hurts my brain. So old vinyl tuesday is going to be vinyl friday and there will be a new vinyl tuesday that's like RSD on a small scale? To prevent piracy? For science? First they take our vowels...
