Harsh man. There are few worse feelings around than a lay-off. I'm still reeling from a lay-off almost a year ago that came out of NOWHERE. A month previously my pay had been doubled and I was told I was going to be taking over the company within two years.

I loved the first few seasons but 4 + 5 I only watched because I had already invested so much time in the show.

I'd always heard nothing but horror stories back in the day about getting your plates made through United. Working w/ Dave from Lucky Lacquers, however, was an unbelievable experience. Highly recommended.

From what I've heard an extra long cut will end up sounding/playing better on 45.

+/- Work is dead today + It gives me time to play with photoshop and get caught up on some design work - The Indian buffet for breakfast yesterday is still causing some 'issues' + Making money playing records last night means money to spend on new records (if I could find anything I wanted)

Over-all I dig it. The only thing I'd do different would be to take out a few extraneous colors like this: I changed the brown in the title to something pretty close to that in the background image and I took out the secondary grey color in the box there and made it the same as the outlying box. Also changed that same light grey to white in the links. Of course that's just how I would do it w/ the same layout and I am prone to over simplifying designs.

I sold hundreds of records myself over the past few years. Records became a huge burden + I needed money. I'll probably sell off another huge chunk (most) of my records in a few months to buy gear and put out a few records.

If you can't fix it yourself don't bother unless you have a high-end receiver. It'll be cheaper and easier to get a new and fully functional one.

I want better color options and a quick turn-around.

I guess I want the decent gloss paper kind that is nearly weather resistant. Asking Jeeves didn't help at all!

I'd been considering a Grado Green myself for a while but it'll have to come after new speakers.
