Badfellows return to Granite Tapes with "Personal Beehive", the follow-up to their acclaimed debut LP, "The Happy Hunting Grounds". Veering away from country and folk influences in favor of 90s-flavored alternative rock, "Personal Beehive" sees the band at their most essential. Each track feels like a vital piece of the puzzle, with no moments wasted - despite a few songs here hitting record lengths for Badfellows. "Personal Beehive" is far and away the band's strongest work to date, and a perfect summary of their incredible songwriting.

"Personal Beehive" will be available on a limited run of cassette tapes (details soon) as well as a pre-order for glass-mastered CDs. The gorgeous poster by Brooke Carlson (picture above) will be available for purchase this weekend on an 11x17 card stock print.

On the bright side, I can't wait for you guys to see the video game soundtrack we are currently working on. Incredible, atmospheric music set to a game I've been somewhat obsessed with for years.

I'm not one of the super intense OT/Alex G collectors/fans but I seriously believe Alex is one of, if not the most talented songwriter of the past decade or so.  He writes the best melodies/hooks ever, song after song after song.
