Not sure if this is a popular record with users of this board, but it's always been at the top of my "wish I could get it on vinyl" list. First vinyl pressing ever, shipping on 12/6.

Does anyone here know if the Ys soundtracks were ever released on vinyl? If not, Nihon Falcom or one of these other companies putting out game soundtracks should definitely work on that. IMO they're amongst the best of all time, wish I could get my hands on a quality color vinyl copy of at least Ys 1&2. 

At the top of my "wish it was on vinyl" list for years now, this excellent 2002 release will finally be pressed through MOV in January!
 
I haven't seen pre-order info yet, but all the usual shops that sell MOV should have it up soon.

I asked the people at Sub Pop about whether or not there would be a "loser edition" on this, here is the response I got:
 
"The set itself is limited edition and will include black vinyl on 180 gram weight. There will not be colored vinyl available for this release as we wanted to preserve the highest audio quality we could, but the boxset version of these reissues will be the limited edition piece worth collecting. Thanks!"
