  1. Pink (BORIS) Akuma No Uta (BORIS) Flood (boris)
  2. Crossing fingers and toes The Archipelago Rises will be getting copies, but due to the OP status of each variant now, I dont think the Sheath are going to be requiring my distribution services for this monster Awesome job on the release Mylene!!
  3. Add to you two, along with the superb releases you've already mentioned, Year of No Light, Alcest, Horseback, Pontiak, Seirom.
  4. Aussie Post sucks royally once anything goes over 500g and wider than 20mm. Costs just as much to send a double LP to someone in the next state along as it does to send a single LP to the USA.
  5. All Cineploit stuff is 25% off using CINE25. Get yr 70s-Italo-horror-movie-soundtrack on. http://thearchipelagorises.bigcartel.com/category/cineploit/

  7. Oh maaaan! That Hobble pic looks stunning. So glad The Archipelago Rises will be stocking this awesome release.
  8. The Archipelago Rises will be getting copies of this in for those closer to Australia. Not many though, and unfortunately pretty bloody expensive with the massive shipping bill from USA to Oz. Get in touch if you need one.
  9. did say 'or' records hate planet. they are great to listen to whilst we pilot this place ever faster towards armageddon though...
  10. I have all yr problems solved! Go the audacity and rip the vinyl to yr computer and then burn a CDr and/or transfer to yr ipod. You have the wonderful sensation of playing the record through from go to whoa, concentrating intently on the glorious sounds within. And then you can have that authentic vinyl sound in the car or wherever the hell ye are! No searching for downloads, no disappointment when no download codes are present, just pure ecstasy as the needle rides the groove
  11. that tracklisting is from from the original CD release? is this one different to the recent Megaforce Records LP reissues (which have the extra tracks)?
  12. yes, the label used this description in their shop write-up. 'Empire of the Moth' is up in their myspace. It is what it is. A lot rawer than Gin, but heavy as hell for 2 guys bashing away at their gear. https://myspace.com/stinktown666/music/songs I do believe that postage rate is a flat rate from Hammerheart. If there's anything else they have...?
  13. New stuff from The Mylene Sheath, Essence Music, Bookmaker Records and Paradigms Recordings in the shop. The Cosmic Dead, ODAWAS, Aidan Baker, Nadja, Caspian, Pelican, Expo 70..... http://thearchipelagorises.wordpress.com/
  14. Gin is phenomenal. One of the best metal releases ever put out imo. You should also check out Erik Wunder's other band, Man's Gin. Completely different. Nick Cave-y even. Bloody good eh.
  15. If anyone in Australia wants to go in with me for an order, Hammerheart have a flat rate of 20 euro shipping for LPs, regardless of qtys.
  16. 500 pressed of the debut full-length from the now-defunct Cobalt. 100 on black brown splatter, 400 on black. Shipping 21st July. 'This album will hit you like a thunder-bolt! Hailing from the United States, Cobalt, a two-member act, plays a very Australian brand of Black "war" Metal. There's no bass in the album, only an unrelenting drum and a equally vigorous guitar. This isn't really like any other band I've heard. It's unique and that's what makes this album stand out. The same formula's been used for all the songs in this album. Around 5 or 6 riffs are used per each song. Each riff is repeated for around a minute with just the drum in the background and very few vocals, if any. To "make up" for that, the guitar-work and the drums are exceptionally good in this. The drumming pattern always and always goes 100% with the guitar riffs. The riffs themselves are an entirely different story altogether - they might sound a bit simple at times but they're mostly very elaborate and well-thought out. The main emphasis of this album is on the war music - it says with the instrument the same message that vocals would convey. The pace of the songs is, not surprisingly, fast with lots and lots of drumming in the back. They've even managed to use a whole bunch of guitar-effects in their songs but it's mostly just the normal guitar - no other synth-based faggotries here. The lyrical emphasis is on war (warfare), destruction and victory. At 39 minutes with 7 tracks, I wouldn't really complain since this is Cobalt's first release, and a very good one at that. I'm actually surprised there isn't any hype about this. Usually, when "unsung" metal bands come up with this kinda stuff, they're praised all over the place. Perhaps the non-commercial policy of their initial record company, Displeased Records, is to "blame" for this. In either case, I'm absolutely certain that fans of Black Metal will love this album, if they find it, that is.' http://hammerheartrecords.bigcartel.com/product/cobalt-war-metal-lp-black-brown-splatter-100-limited-edition http://hammerheartrecords.bigcartel.com/product/cobalt-war-metal-lp
  17. Ommadon-V Scottish drone/doom duo Ommadon are set to release their monolithic new album ‘V’ in August. The pair are adept at cultivating humongous walls of noise, as their thick, oppressive sound makes full use of impossibly weighty drones and riffs that feel almost infinite. The fifth effort from the duo, both ex-members of Snowblood, continues in their quest to produce raw, heavy doom, recorded live by themselves in the forest in the highlands. It’s all live, with no overdubs and no bullshit. 'V continues our quest to achieve sonic annihilation of the self in our perpetual quest for heaviness. The drone-doom on V is an all encompassing wall of raw sound which creates a truly unsettling and downright claustrophobic atmosphere to obliterate your mind.' V was played and recorded all live by OMMADON on the Hill of Maud in the Highlands over the winter of 2012/13. Split across four sides of 180 gram vinyl, the double record is limited to 300 and was mastered by Billy Anderson (Sleep, Eyehategod, High On Fire etc) so you can bet your favourite Sunn O))) picture disc on this thing sounding heavier than a dying planet. 18. Yup. Gotta go to MC direct. Maybe see if they have a licensing arrangement with a label that presses reks? Almost cancelled my SH order for Noise. Glad I didn't. The record is surprising, in all good ways.
  19. The Archipelago Rises will be getting the Mylene Sheath variants for those closer to Australia
