I actually got mine for my friend who is a huge Thrice fan, and she doesn't mind the color and will keep it - but it's just the principle of it as far as Kings Road is concerned, that they switched it without telling anyone.   And they ignored my question as to why they didn't inform anyone about it.  But I agree that Thrice should suffer monetarily for Kings Road's incompetence.  

So Kings Road Merch literally just admitted to me over FB messaging that they changed the wax mage to the 'clear 3 color splatter' (and didn't inform anyone):  The Wax Mage did get changed to the variant you received of the Clear +3 splatter. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I'm keeping mine regardless, but that is super shady.

I don't think they knew what they were doing with any of this (considering Bundle #2 was supposed to have the album colors).  Personally, I would rather have the other version.  They just flip-flopped the color scheme, which wasn't what was originally described in the bundles.

I have a feeling they switched bundle 1 and bundle 2 though and bundle 2 got the wax mage and bundle 1 gets a clear with OG color splatters.

There were interlude skits on this album that aren't included on the VMP pressing or probably this pressing due to the same reason that De La Soul Is Dead hasn't been re-issued yet (sample issues).

I haven't opened mine yet, but the jacket was all bent up.  Sent an email to them and they refunded half of my purchase.  Just FYI if you want to get something back for the warping if you're not returning it.

They increased.  Mine was $23 shipped.  That's honestly the only reason I got that one (since I had already bought two others)

40 left of the SB 'art edition'.  They sold 2000 in a couple hours.  Impressive.  

I'm sticking with the JC and SB 'art editions' and the Rough Trade variant.  I think........

Also - only 1000 remaining of the SB 'art edition' .  They've sold 1000 in less than an hour.

I just double-dipped.  I'm wondering if there will be a variant sold only on JC's tour as well (thinking of going on Halloween again in LA)

I'm excited to see them perform the album in LA next month (actually hoping for Ice Cube to show up......and Fred Durst?) and grabbed the album with no hesitation.
