  1. just got turned on to this and its real good (not new though)...
  2. so how many episodes does season 3 have? I've been watching on Netflix Australia and they only have 10 ep's for season 3...
  3. Oh man, I reluctantly gave it a listen after not having paid any attention to Once More Around the Sun and I really like it. Nowhere near the top 4 but a solid enjoyable listen. I didn't mind The Hunter its pretty hit and miss but has some moments of absolute genius ( I know a lot of people hate on it) and I think Emperor... is comfortably better.
  4. Just read this article where Brann Dailor ranks Mastodon's albums, its actually a really good read and provides some insight into what various members were going through at the time. So as some one who used to be huge on this band, and is still a fan I thought it might be fun to post my rankings and see what other think as well. https://noisey.vice.com/en_us/article/j5gn9k/rank-your-records-mastodon-brann-dailor if you can't be bothered reading Brann Says: 1. Crack the Skye 2. Leviathan 3. Blood Mountain 4. Emperor of Sand 5. Once More Around the Sun 6. Remission 7. The Hunter My Ranking: 1. Leviathan 2. Remission 3. Blood Mountain 4. Crack the Skye 5. Emperor of Sand 6. The Hunter 7. Once More Around the Sun (probably unfair as it is their only album I haven't listened through)
  5. I love Sleep but they seem more like a merch company than a real band to me these days... I need to check out the new Loss record that came out earlier this year, I've been enjoying the Cavernlight and Ragana albums which both have doom/black elements in there, also interested to hear then new Primitive Man. Subrosa Subdued live set at Roadburn is getting a release, vinyl for 2018 apparently http://theobelisk.net/obelisk/2017/10/04/subrosa-subdued-live-at-roadburn-2017-release/
  6. Slowly building weapons, new album is up on bandcamp name your price DL fans of Oathbreakers latest will likely dig this. https://slowlybuildingweapons.bandcamp.com/
  7. A cool piece on Chaos Moon up in Invisible Oranges: http://www.invisibleoranges.com/languor-of-origins-chaos-moons-dual-debuts-turn-10/
  8. Burning World Records are based in the Netherlands I believe, so shipping within EU should be reasonable
  9. listened to about the first half of this on their bandcamp today, and it was fairly bland unfortunately. I won't write it off yet however Edit: track 3 is pretty good
  10. this is pretty cool, terrible band name though, am I missing some hidden meaning behind it? lol some of the violin parts remind me a little of Trial - Are these our lives?
  11. Out on Earache December as seen on the bands instagram. Presume pre orders within the next month. A lot of demand for this record so they will go quick I imagine... http://webstore.earache.com/cult-of-luna Gold /300 SOLD OUT Silver /500 Clear /500 Black
  12. pre orders have been up for a while for the Chaos Moon album on blood music and fallen empire. haven't pulled the trigger yet been spending too much lately and hoping someone with cheaper shipping gets copies
  13. Fuck the Facts - Stigmata High Five The Drip - The Haunting Of Inevitability Royal Thunder - Crooked Doors Culted - Oblique To All Paths Hooded Menace - Darkness Drips Forth Primate - Draw Back A Stump +3 Mumakil - Behold The Failure Blockheads/Mumakil 7"
  14. Yeah I went to the rough trade site and couldn't see any info, do they usually do a pre order? Germany seems to have the most reasonable international shipping which is the main reason for my interest in this variant... Don't really feel like paying Relapse's shipping costs again (which I'm certain they add a little mayo on top of) after ordering the grab bag and Iron Monkey LP in the last month or so...
  15. Pretty interesting stuff, not sure where I stand with it but at least warrants a further listen. Got this bad boy in the mail yesterday one of the best from last year:
  16. Within Dividia was kinda mathy Dillinger type stuff, Elementary was more Nu-Metal and from the one listen I gave it back in the day absolute tripe.
  17. this is super under appreciated, and sounds creepy AF
  18. Chronoclast is an all time for me, love that album.
  19. Is this the new track from the split with Drudkh? also this is sick, around the 8 min it really hits when the tempo slows right down
