  1. I never seen a bootleg of an album come out right before a vinyl version of the album was about to drop. I didn't think this wasn't a legit release for a second. Especially since other artists have been doing it the past year or so.
  2. Mine shipped from Amazon. So the vinyl has to be in stores soon.
  3. It's the album spread across 2 slabs at 45rpm and the third LP has the b-sides, comp tracks and alt mixes at 33.
  4. I moved my 5x5 expedit of records box by box. It was the easiest and most secure way to do it short of having the movers do it. The movers were good, but I wanted that extra piece of mind so I moved them myself. And I second those uHaul boxes. The are perfect. Home Depot has some 14x14 boxes so you could also throw in some paper bags for cushioning. Just make sure you get some heavy duty packing tape to secure up the boxes. I found packing tape for packages was better at securing the box bottom than the moving box tape you could buy.
  5. These each come with a 7" feasting 2 bonus tracks each. Otherwise, I'm guessing the vinyl is the exact same version as any other 20/20 pressing.
  6. We are getting the original mix remastered. CD1 of the CD box set.
  7. Kinda wish the 2013 mix would get pressed. It's really good.
  8. Maybe some people like having something tangible and its as simple as that. Ive never got into this thinking "I'm happy this stuff is so rare". I got into this because I thought the format was cool and I enjoyed it. I understand there is a finite-ness to the format. But most people don't buy a LP and think "Sweet. I got 1 of 15,000!!!!" I don't have a problem with people chasing records. I've done it. But I'm also not losing my shit if the label decides to press 100 more or act like some golden rule has been broken. I bought the $50 deluxe version. I was happy to. Ty and Charlie are great. ITR is great. Do I give a shit that there was another 250 in Fuzz's van and then ITR ordered 250 more. No. I don't give a shit about the other 699 people. My issue is that people have a problem with another 500 people joining the club. And getting bothered by that is really fucking weird. Collect records because they are rare. Thats cool But don't get bent out of shape.
  9. Ha. I loved the way you said it. I thought it was better because it was more elaborate.
  10. I am curious as to how elaborate this crushed velvet foil cover is. I have a seemingly similar one from Numero Group and it was only $25 or so. That would be disappointing if this one turns out to be over priced.
  11. I'll agree it was a bit deceptive that they had more than the 250, but the only people who would care about that sort of thing are people planning to flip, or people who really only care about how collectable their collection is. If you felt forced to buy it because it was limited and you felt it was gonna go quick, there is something wrong there.
  12. United can host digital downloads of records they press, so it sounds like the mp3s are from a test press. At least that's what I take that pic to mean. The label of this "bootleg" version looks more like a legit label than a Test press label.
