Saw Anchors along with another excellent Australian band, Paper Arms (Walter Schreifels produced their album last year) and picked this up

should support Poison City where you can, they're trying to get more interest in vinyl in Australia which will lead to cheaper prices eventually, I hope

Club has reported that Braid will be reuniting and recording a new album with J. Robbins, the man responsible for producing 1998's Frame & Canvas. They've also announced that the new album will be released through Polyvinyl Records, who also released the band's first two albums and singles collections. The Chicago-based group was one of the early bands to kick-start the second wave of emo in the mid '90s. For the record, this is great news.

Basically, Brisbane is flooding now because Wivenhoe Dam is so full that they've got all 5 floodgates open 24/7 atm to stop the threat of the dam overflowing

I'm not sure how many of you are aware or how much of this is getting covered overseas but much of my state of Queensland in Australia is currently suffering from major flooding at the moment and we need as much help as possible.
