yeah, opaque gold vinyl is typically a very greenish yellow color, totally different from transparent gold. i believe this pressing is part of pirate press's "haze" options.

the pea green swirl is actually the clear yellow/gold mix. this has been confirmed by a reputable source (i know the new drummer for 108)

vinyl collective is my new fave. when they're back up and running i'm gonna give 29 north a spin, b/c they have a HUGE selection. i haven't used them in a long time, but very distro is usually pretty good. i'll also buy direct from labels and/or bands. deathwish is pretty awesome. i have about 10 million converge stickers because of them.

i think this record is the best thing they've ever done, they've matured and moved past monotony. i semi-agree about the drummer, i don't hate him, but he's definately the weakest link. the problem is, he's the bassists brother.

tell that to buckethead fans. copies of his ntt records pressing of giant robot routinely go for 400+ not saying i disagree with you, but there is an element of completism that people can get into, as there definately are rare cd's out there. and it's often easier to own every release by a certain band on cd than it is record.

most hydrahead stuff is pressed on vinyl a little bit after the cd release, fire in our throats was almost (if not more) a whole year later.
