started reading The Bourne Identity. i had no idea the book was like 30 years old, lol @ the "technology" they talk about. makes for a very different read vs the movie so far. the writing style is kind've odd as well, but I think i like it?

i might actually like the cover better in white... still my fav of theirs. dont need another copy though (i'm selling a black repress if anyone wants)

we're converting my office into another kids room, which means i have to move my records and player into the garage. selling my duplicates and stuff i can live without because i certainly wont have room for all this in there. did anyone pick up GrizzlyShark? my shop was out of it (SURPRISE) but it looks hilarious

my wife and I watched this when it first aired years ago and loved it then. i just recently watched the first few episodes again and remembered why i liked it, and i still like it, but yeah it didn't hold up as laugh out loud funny. i really like some of the character interactions and the super-dry jokes in the corporate commercial intro things. i feel like if they had added just a hint of some slapstick it could've worked. some of the jokes in the later episodes are SO good and smart. but it was missing something (maybe laughs...)

legitimately bummed for the guys i was gonna try to help. they were out of all the exclusives by the time i got to their booth. they must not have allotted very many for the day, they were out of literally every special release before I even had lunch. and they were only really pushing subscriptions and lame Dorbz you can get online found a couple Mass Effect and Futurama ones i wanted for $8-10 each at other booths though, so it wasn't a total bust for Pops.

really, really enjoyed wytches. excited for the second arc to start (it hasn't started yet, right?)

yeah i have to admit i wasn't nearly as stoked for this one, then this trailer.... whoa. yeah. i'm, way, WAY on board.

i'll pick up the trades of Fight Club eventually. my wife is a huge Palahniuk fan and i love the move, so i'm going to try to read them in secrecy first, then give them to her as a present haha

i never, ever watch the extras (although someday i should crack into the extra 3 discs of my 9-disc BluRay box set of the first 6 movies...), so i don't care which version i get. i'll probably just get the BluRay + DVD + Digital bundle and call it good.

bummer, i feel you though. this shop is nowhere near my fav, they're nice dudes, but it's really small and just almost-kinda-sorta on the way home and their across the street from a great bar. my fav local spot is WAY too out of the way and would add at least an hour on my commute home for Wednesdays.

same here! plus i'm waiting to see if i find any steals at ECCC on friday i finally started an online pull list from DCBS too. with my new job, getting to my local shop (who are great at running out of my titles anyway) is a colossal pain in the ass.

i need to get around to reading those. even just that ^^^ sold me on it

you made it one season longer than we did. they lost me at the end of season 5, never even watched a single episode of this season (we ended up cutting cable and i made no effort whatsoever to catch up digitally). came in to have stuff spoiled. anything good happen? you know, in the probably 2 or 3 good episodes the season was bound to have?

i didn't think about how the Nerd Cthulhu would mean more to an actually collector, i dont mind getting a "normal" one for myself to ensure a collector got one. anyone interested in me picking stuff up for you, LIST out which ones you'd want. i'm going Friday, so I'm sure they'll have most of that stuff there still. and i'll have my brother and one of my buddies with me, so i might be able to get more of each one. but i am not promising anything, the line at their booth is either non-existent or insane, so i don't want to guarantee anything. i have a notoriously short attention span so it'll be in-the-moment decision if i wait in line or not.
