I checked out the band...I dig it. His voice is diff/unique (which I think helps with ska bands) and he can definitely play. I also second the nicely recorded songs being given more of a listen. You should check out my buddy's band called The Golden Butter Band which is basically a mix between 311's voice with Incubus sounds.

Thanks man! Yeah anyone who really knows these bands let me know what's good so I can check them out! I went through the band list that play before Tim and Austin, and they're pretty decent. Also earlier I checked out bands at random and Field Day had Don Caballero guitarwork, but not as intense -- it was more mellow like instrumental MTB (from HRP) haha whatever

Haha I remember last year coming across that info because I recognized the shit out of the drummer (FCR.com commercial)...he was the main character in an ABC Family show called Big Wolf on Campus...his name in real life is Brandon Quinn.

I did that at the Portugal show last week and, well, it was definitely easier because I'm 6'3" and most of the people there were a bit shorter, but extremely worth it. I totally agree if they don't know the band, get the fuck out of the way. I stayed off to the side while Port O'Brien and The Dig played because I could see other people who knew that shit were there at the front for demshitz (awesome bands by the way)

I remember seeing Interpol a couple years ago with my (now) ex gf...we were at the front and some drunk dude walks thru kids with his shirt off and starts 'dancing' on my gf...instead of pushing him to the side, I put my arm around her and held her close (awwww) for him to get the idea...he then slapped her ass and at that point, I stood directly in front of him and he said "hahaha pussy!" and i successfully elbowed him in the rib cage. Then I pushed him in front of me to the gate which he then threw up on the staff member who was twice his size. fuck that kid.
