Anyone going to the DC show?...I should make that shit -- let's get drunk!

I saw them two years ago at Virginia Beach and actually got to talk to Carlos because there's this sweet restaurant behind the venue (which lets ticket holders in 15 minutes before the doors open, so we got to be front row) and he came in that way after walking his dog in an all black suit with white shoes haha....aaaaaaand that show was fucking great! Tickets then were only $25...If I see them it will be at Baltimore, MD but I'm not too sure spending $40+fees and a 90 minute drive will be affordable by then. Expect a lot of awesomeness and not being disappointed, unless you don't know most of their songs, then you'll be bored. and if you're taking a girl, she'll want to fuck afterwards. Or during (depends on how much alcohol).

Yeah fuck this album. I've listened to this album to the point where I'm absolutely positive there are two and a half songs that are worth listening, and that's only because they accidentally got into the iPod mix of their first EPs and first two albums. Fuck the ridiculous vinyl pricing. Radio meet Minus the Bear, Minus the Bear meet Radio. And not even Viagra is going to help this album grow on me.

daaaaaamn Panopticon for $15?! I nearly punched myself in the face a couple months ago when I missed "Panoptigon" on eBay for $10 and no bids! Then the guy realized people didnt buy it because he misspelled the album title, and it sold for about $25. In other news, good luck with the sale!

Haha I remember buying the CD and t shirt (i believe its still somewhere in the closet) years ago off Smartpunk Shortly after the CD was purchased, I read news they broke up, then I met this one guy who said "hey, i like your shirt..do you know portugal. the man?" and so we went to go see them in baltimore with gatsby. As I was walking into the club, this unknown guy says "hey man, nice shirt" and I said, "yeah..fucking sweet band; too bad they broke up" and he laughed..well it was Zach who, when we get to meet up when they're on the east coast, remembers my dumbass statement and it brings a good laugh. Also, my friend Justin became even better friends with Zach, and soon after Zach had sent him songs that would have been off of AOAG's second album, but instead they recreated the songs to be on PTM's Waiter: You Vultures. That was fucking great.

The first time I saw Portugal. The Man, they played with Gatsby and they weren't bad at all, even all of those years ago. PTM was, at that point, just 'decent' haha...John had some makeshift guitar and I just remember the mic was at his stomach so he leaned forward to sing with this blue light on his face..and zach, still, ripped the bass. I'd be definitely down for some Gatsby vinyl

Last thursday I saw The Fall of Troy at the Ottobar in Baltimore, MD... My buddy brought a container with an unknown amount of vodka which we mixed with cranberry juice and drank most of before the doors opened since we got there early. Inside I had 4 beers, felt fine, had a clove cigar, felt sick, had one more beer while Envy on the Coast was playing. Went back to the car to finish off the mixed drink, did so, then as I walk back inside, Henry (I call him Hank the Tank..he's the guitar tech of Fall of Troy and will be in whatever of the three sideprojects Thomas Erak will work with in Seattle) was outside with some guys that I happened to go to school with and we're all talking, two hits of a cig, and I lost complete balanced and backwalked into the fence while laughing...then i said see you later... an hour later my buddy was pounding on my car window and i lifted my head up with puke all in my back seat -- thankfully i was able to make 90% of it in an empty milk jug. let my buddy and our DD in, then woke up the next day on my friend's couch smelling like mcdonalds.

Upon listening to it -- I hear a lot of Our Love to Admire guitar and vocal projection of Paul The progression of the song if fucking sweet and I definitely hope this is track 1 on the next album.

I've worked in retail for over 4 years aaaanndd buying something from the store, leaving, then coming back in for cash is fucking wrong. Employees at Wal-Mart allowing for that shit to happen obviously do not give a shit about their job and the people who try it have seen Garden State too much. Without a receipt, they might not even take it back -- if you say, "Oh, I bought it with a gift card" or "Oh, it was a gift", they can only return it back onto a gift card. Since you have a generic grocery store gift card, it's pointless to sell on eBay (I have seen American Eagle gift cards for $25 sell for $23....$50 Best Buy for $48.50 -- dumbshitz) I have a feeling if you politely ask the manager of the grocery store, he/she will allow for you to buy an iTunes, Visa, or Amazon gift card since technically they are selling it. If they say no way, then give the card to some homeless person. Or buy fruit.

Well I had my HT order 5 (3 from 1 store; two from the other) copies from two different stores...I picked up one for myself and one for a friend (both shipped from Maryland) One was marble....the other one white which means one more is marble, and the other two are white.

I remember four years ago going to see Kevin Devine at the rock and roll hotel in DC and these guys were outside passing out free CDs...it was "Mander Salis" and I fucking love that album.

I'm definitely going to walk back and forth between the Artful Dodger and Court Square Theatre Also the weather is supposed to be very bueno soooo hell yes this will be awesome.
