That would be so fucking sweet to have haha From what I remember regarding the white/green issue was the white sounded horrible and/or the plant screwed up and put 914 copies on green, the remaining 86 is on white which were scrapped like you said. I tried searching through the archives for the last 30 minutes because I swore I found that info one time, but nope -- no luck.

that's what i suspected all along. but does this Mark have any sort of credibility that makes what he said hold any merit? because if it's just a buddy of yours it adds another opinion to the long list of people speculating without having any sort of reliable source for the info they are passing around. I met Mark when I saw Brand New play a short acoustic set in Jersey after the show, and then ran into him again at the full show a month later in PA -- anyway Mark manages most of the fightoffyourdemons fan site and often their MySpace when Brian (drummer) or someone else doesn't. He's definitely a legit guy and very credible.

I received an email the other day from an acquaintance, Mark, who cleared up some shit: "Triple Crown is helping Brand New with their logistics (pressing / distribution), but any time you see the Triple Crown version mentioned, it's actually the Procrastinate version." Regardless, I'll pick up whatever version shows up at Hot Topic, and two version from AFS. The fucking End.

The first pressing does come with the 12x12 booklet, the new pressing is 180g audiophile w/ download card. It sounds so damn good. That's a great price! I remember checking ache records RIGHT when they happened to restock the LP for $15 and I had to change my underwear. Ten minutes later they were out! The newest UK version is on pink wax, and maybe a double LP(?) I remember coming across one on eBay that, after currency conversion, would be about $50 USD. The seller has/had 10 copies so I would definitely go for the album that's 15 pounds!

Yep yep. I emailed this guy, Mark, who's become an acquaintance I met a few years ago at one of BN's shows -- he manages BN's online fanmail and I think their MySpace -- and he said he didn't actually know about AFS's release, just Procrastinate! Music Traitor's release. And so he got back to me once he talked to Brian (the drummer) who told him about AFS/MTS's being the other to just release it. So yes, it is just two labels releasing this album. Now, if only March could come sooner haha.

put it on ebay with free shipping, the idiots there will probably buy it up to $22. I work at AE and have looked to see what crap people are selling, and for some dumb reason the gift cards do really well -- my thought is this: if someone is to spend nearly the same amount of money for a gift card off ebay, why don't they just walk into the store and buy one for the amount they allowed to spend? I just received word from PTM about "American Ghetto" being released sometime soon. They said: "We will shortly make an official announcement for the release of American Ghetto. This one is for you, we are not sending it to press and we are not sending it to radio. When all the finishing touches are complete we will make it available to everyone on the same day. OK, we will answer 2 questions right now... * Yes, it is an entire album, 11 songs * Yes, it is a slightly more electronic, beats, samplers, etc. album than The Satanic Satanist. I haven't seen them in a couple years (I will this march in DC!) but I've been able to keep a close contact with Zach, their bassist, who -- along with the other gents -- is just a genuine guy and I don't think I've respected a band more than PTM. In conclusion, I'm stoked!

Find a KOHL's coupon and go to their electronics section and pick up the Ion Profile LP USB turntable -- I bought one for a buddy of mine for Christmas and it's pretty sweet. It's $119.95 at the store, but you can easily knock that down with one of their really good coupons (just google KOHL's coupons). Good luck!

I haven't kept up with this thread for a few days and just by looking at the previous to posts it seems everything has gone to shit haha -- from what I understand, there were two labels releasing this record: Academy Fight Song/MTS Procrastinate! Music Traitors (Brand New's own label) AFS has their 2500 amazing versions, and BN has 5000 version with different artwork (all on white). The only reason why Triple Crown is mentioned is because they -- along with other distro's like Interpunk, MerchDirect, and other online sites -- are just trying to sell some of the 5000 copies P!MT has to sell. Let me know if I have missed something within the last week.

FYI even though Contra is sold out in VC, there are a few copies at Hot Topic for, I believe, $14.99 since it's 180g
