  1. i am sure you will still gte some good bids on stuff. but you may not get optimal amounts
  2. depends on the price of the item. i would be a bit wary if its a 300 dollar record that im buying, or some electronic gadget. but as long as its described well, you take paypal, and have a picture, etc. and its only a 10 dollar item, then i dont worry too much about feedback.
  3. listen to the second half of the song 7 Words, and tell me thats not rap. also, whil i know its not the deftones, it IS still chino, but listen to the song Wicked by Korn. and chino most certainly raps. also when they played live back in 94/95 ish, chino also did various little rap breakdowns between songs, or as improv at the end of songs. i dont lump it in with the rest of the "nu-metal" though because it doesnt have the same breakdowns, and came years before bands like limp bizkit came and bastardized the genre. just like nowadays people call fallout boy or panic at the disco emo, and so while rites of spring and moss icon were called emo, i certainly wouldnt lump the two bands together. adrenaline is still an amazing album, and while very different than white pony, are great on each of their merits. though i am sure if i heard adrenaline today, it might not be nearly as good as i think it is.
  4. amazing in my opinion. i would be so all over this if it ever happened.
  5. not all were on color. there were some pressed on black as well.
  6. this was out of print? the original press is still available everywhere.
  7. very is awesome. they have some hiccups and have made a few errors, but they always have corrected it immediately for me. though they do charge an extra % for a "credit card fee" if you pay with credit card.
  8. black vinyl sounds better is a fact? on a technical level there is no difference in audio quality based on color. orange will sound exactly like black which sounds like blue. it doesnt matter about color, its all about mastering. although crystal clear vinyl with degrade faster according to one pressing plant, because in order to get it CLEAR as opposed to mint, or coke bottle, or whatever, they have to bleach it, which breaks down some of the composition of the record i guess. not sure if thats ever been actually tested i agree though, that a lot of people collecting colored vinyl, will never listen to that record.
  9. colored vinyl is hyped right now, and a lot of people are dumb and only buy something if its on color vinyl so they are cool with their friends. so it not only gets new kids who pick it up based on the fact its on color and will look good on their wall, but also gets the kids who will buy it to complete the collection, and get every pressing. plus at this point, black vinyl is made less and less, since kids seem to think black vinyl is horrible, and a record is only good on color. so while it used to be every once in a while a record would be on color....and then it was that there would be a limited run of color, and the pressing on black, and now with the hype, the pressings are all color, and various colors.
  10. people do make represses and pass them off as originals. thats what bootlegs are in many cases. but if you want to do a legit repress thats cool, but when you are talking about bigger bands, on bigger labels, get ready to pay out the pocket for it. if you find some small hardcore band, that was never really under contract, etc. it can be as easy as simply asking the band, and asking the label, and they say sure whatever. but with bigger bands and bigger labels you have to not only get everyones permission, and pay the pressing costs, but you have to license the record out for instance you repress Refused "shape of punk to come" on vinyl, not only would you have to pay the pressing costs, but epitaph wants about 1.50 per copy that you press (which means, if your pressing costs are 5 bucks.....now its gonna cost you 6.50 just in cost alone) not to mention most of the time the original label will want to have the say and final OK on details, like paper the insert is printed on, design, etc. some labels will charge a flat rate for licensing. like, pay us 2000 dollars, and you can press however many you want. i know this kid who wanted to press glassjaw records on vinyl, and the label said sure go ahead, just pay us 3500 in royalties, and then you can go ahead and do it. its possible, and people do it all the time, but there is a reason why it doesnt happen much with bigger bands/labels unless they are already friends of the band/label whoc cut them deals. otherwise its just not financially feasible in most cases. not too mention a lot of labels wont let you, because they want to keep their options open on repressing it later. or in a lot of cases, its the band that wont give permission to repress cause they hate that album and want it to just die out, or they want to focus on new stuff, or whatever the reason is, there are tons of bands who dont WANT their old stuff to be repressed.
  11. if i can find them.......i bet i have at least 8 copies of that necessary conditions 7" in there somewhere.
  12. yeah maybe. i dunno.....if they were closed for the holidays though, they may not have gotten back to work until after the 1st, which would make it only barely a week. which even by internet standards isnt too bad. not trying to stick up for them, cause maybe they are shady, or sketchy or whatever. i guess i just dont see it based on that experience. some places if they are out of stock, may be waiting on a return from a distributor, or another distro, or a restock, adn so it takes a week or so for them to figure out they arent gonna get it at all, and its gone for good. once again, may not be the case in that instance, but just trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.
  13. i definitely have way too many of this bands records.
  14. i dont understand what is so sketchy....so they took 2 weeks to ship. thats really not that long of a time. granted, i like places to be quicker, but thats not ridiculous or anything. the internet has totally spoiled mailorder in my opinion
  15. a 7" weighs about 0.13-0.18 pounds. somewhere around 2.5 - 3 ounces. thats just the 7" though, doesnt include the mailer/box.
  16. this place rules!!!!!! definitely support him. great distro. awesome label.
  17. i would never shop at american eagle. however, i do hit up hot topic for their clearance vinyl on the weekends where they do half off clearance items. Its how i got about 30 Converge LPs for a buck each......and those Fueled By Ramen/Decay dance 5x7" boxsets for a buck and a half each. and good stuff for ebay all for about 3 or 4 bucks each like Panic at the disco LPs, Devil Wears Prada LPs, Coheed 2xLPs, Deftones 2xLPs, Head Automatica 2xLPs and tons more. that place rules for clearance finds. and in a month or two when all those crime in stereo LPs (which are 8 bucks normally), go on sale for 4 bucks.....and then i hit a half off clearance weekend, and get them all for 2 bucks each!
  18. really? ive been to 4 or 5 hot topics in the last couple weeks. each of them have stacks of them.
  19. just go to hot topic and pick up one of the 10 copies each store still has.
  20. crappy pictures. ill have to take pictures of the distro later cause its at a different location. there are a couple more shelves, and another wall i forgot to take pictures. of.
  21. thats crazy. i used to have so many of those on blue in my distro. i could have made a pretty penny on them.
