  1. Pre-order is up here: http://smarturl.it/tsr139 And a new song is here: http://tpshlf.co/1M0tic4 Thank you!!!!
  2. As a fan, I personally think this tops it. It's bonkers. I just recently saw them live for the first time and was smiling the whole time. So good.
  3. Every pre-order we do, we let the bands choose a charity on their own to have proceeds go to — TSL picked this one.
  4. Less than 6 of the 7-inches left — then OOP! http://www.topshelfrecords.com/products/557650-the-saddest-landscape-souls-worth-saving
  5. didn't read any posts in this thread. Just here to say it's better than anything we ever released for them. It's fucking brilliant.
  6. They're actually close friends from the same town and shared members!
  7. I think it's fair to say the majority of the A-side is more classic toe (a lot of it sounds like New Sentimentality era stuff to me) and the B-side branches out a lot more. Listening to For Long Tomorrow, to The Future Is Now and then going into this, I think it's a logical progression, personally. I can also totally see how parts like that hip hop interlude could be too weird for western audiences.
  8. The only videos that were ever made for that are all on Yotube for free. The USB is live audio only and was exclusive to the tour, unfortunately. Might be uploaded somewhere online but idk. Correct! It is a recording of that night's show — from a room mic and from audio direct from the board, mixed. You unlock it by purchasing it, really. The USB serves as a portal to download every set from the entire tour. There are no DVDs for the US tours, just the Japanese ones and the European "8 Days" DVD.
  9. Depends. Some venues take a fee (usually for larger shows at larger venues — the San Francisco date of this tour took a % of the band's merch sales the other night, for example). But in general, yeah — buying direct (or as direct as you can) helps artists and labels the most. But if it's easier and more convenient for you to buy from a store, go for it — that's why they exist Fourth press: /1,000; White.
  10. They're out of two of the old shirts now. They'll be re-stocked in Seattle but will mostly be running with the two new shirts for most of the tour. They have the USB Live, free stickers, tote bags, all five albums on vinyl (not the new one, of course) and "TFIN" on CD. Not expecting all five albums to last very deep into the tour, unfortunately, but they should have both LPs throughout.
  11. careful! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD_region_code This is why we don't sell them here in the US. Can probably get around it, but just FYI!
  12. this. so annoying, haha! I GET a lot of our bands that are more known can definitely be defined with this term, but it gets thrown around for the vast majority of our roster [simply by association] too loosely. toe is not an emo band. They have strong connections to the late 90's Chicago math rock / emo / instrumental scene and so I think that's mostly where that idea is rooted — but yeah, toe is a truly genre-less band and borrow elements of sooooo many genres effortlessly, tastefully and in wildly innovative ways. the actual 100% best band to ever exist ever ever ever lol <3
  13. No vinyl until the fall, unfortunately. Shit's crazy in 2015, you guys.
  14. If you click on the link in your order confirmation email, you can check on the status of your order at any time.
