Now that we've relocated from Boston to San Diego and are finally well settled into our new space (lol at how long this takes), we began a project of archiving and cataloging every vinyl variant of every album we've ever released. As you can imagine, with 10+ years worth of physical releases, this is a somewhat cumbersome task. Also with 10+ years worth of releases (and despite our best efforts), we have a few missing things, a few holes to fill — sometimes entire pressings that we don't even have a single variant of. this is an EP

Whenever you see an album go down across all digital services, it's usually because the label or artist switched distribution channels so it needs to be taken down and re-solicited (read: essentially re-released via their new distributor, really) or the rights to the material changed hands (like a band buying back the rights to their master recordings or a label being in breach of contract / a label's license term is expired and material then reverts back to the band — orrrrr there just never was a contract at all and the band / their manager strong-arm a smaller label into forking over that material from their catalog because their is no legal ground for them to have it in the first place). It usually pops back up within a month. Nothing to do with the services hosting the material. Sometimes bands just hate their older material and choose to take it down though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Oh, and I have no idea what the specific cause for it being down in this case is — just saying!

Totally. It puts us in a weird spot. And we usually don't know how they turned out until we have hundreds of them shipped to us so it'd be one helluva expensive and time-consuming fix. It happens sometimes and generally we're team "if it doesn't effect the audio, then accept that it didn't turn out perfect and move on". Thanks for the heads up on the labels — bummed none of us caught that :/ I'll fix it for any future re-presses though.

That's not the point of it. We don't release music because it's cool or what people like or whatever. We work with the artists we do because they're doing something worthwhile. I want to highlight truly great things that fly under the radar with this series. Sorry if this statement seems brash or confrontational — it's just something I'm pretty passionate about.

We are toying with the idea of making a 13th cassette available that is exclusive to the subscription (or, if not exclusive, it'll be free to subscribers). Subscribers will also get various goodies shipped with their subscription packages (pins and stickers, etc.). But otherwise, nothing else is planned!

Chiming in to say I sat in on the tail end of this recording session and heard the record. I personally think it's his best material yet.
