my grandma had a tradition of sending me a new ornament every year...toward the end there she started sending me progressively more juvenile ones. barbies and kittens and such...but she would get it super right sometimes with really intricate bulbs. anyway, i usually just put those up but this year I'm not even sure if i want to finish the tree... ok so i kinda sorta left it up all year and i'm tired of looking at it now. lol

I disagree. To start with your top 5 bands is a very different list to the best 5 bands of all time. Secondly, it all depends on what you take in to account to choose them. If you are looking at the best bands of all time do you look at popularity? the number of album sales? Size of back catalog, if that's the case then many of the bands mentioned in this thread do not count. If you are looking at the bands that just grab you by the balls and make you scream fuck yeah then it doesn't matter if they have released 15 albums or nothing at all. this. there are many ways to define a band as your "top favorite"...not everyone digs old school punk/rock despite the fact everyone thinks we should be worshiping bands like Zep, Beatles, Ramones, etc. since everyone's criteria are different there's no reason to argue or talk shit on this thread. if people would stop trying so hard to be "cool", this board would be a million times better. can't we all just get a bong?

uhm since i have a vagina i'll go ahead and answer this...bc really fucks your hormones up in my experience. everyone i know who's on it went through some sort of weird adjustment period, gained weight, lost sex drive, some depression/mood swings. to be honest with you I would either accept these side effects or let her know you would be willing to wrap it up and save her the bullshit. my boyfriend is fully aware that i flip the script while on bc so i tried it for a short while and we went right back to the rubber. if she really wants to stay on it, you can try to have a little "serious" talk with her and tell her that you understand she's feeling shitty about herself but you still find her incredibly sexy. don't act ANY different around her than you normally would, even if you do notice the weight gain on her small frame. she's going to need to feel that your thoughts of her haven't changed and won't change because of these effects. in time she will be more accepting of herself but that's not really something you can control. don't even buy her clothes for christmas...focus on getting her some really special things that are super sentimental and have nothing to do with her weight/body. the more you avoid the topic, the better, imo. idk if any of that helps but I can definitely identify with those problems...
