  1. if i go smallest to largest i guess i'll have to put Green Day first
  2. i've been thinkin about doin this lately, it'd be easier to pinpoint what records i have when i'm in a certain mood to listen to something. i could easily separate my Country and Classic Rock records, but my collection is mostly punk/pop-punk, so that's the part where i don't know what to do. i was thinking about making an "80's Hardcore Punk" section and i was considering doing a pop-punk section, but at that point i think i might just be goin for it too much. what would you guys do?
  3. yup that's the one, it's pretty good. i also just won an auction for Underground. and yeah, Requiem is probably something i'll never be able to hear, i can't find anything about it online
  4. yeah i was thinking about getting his CD, he's a pretty goddamn good guitarist
  5. shit, i didn't know there was a new haggard album out. i only have 2 of his records, i need to get more of 'em. he's actually playing at a fest that's about an hour from me in about a month but i don't think i can make it up.
  6. the most i've spent on vinyl has actually been on country artists. i just dropped $45 (shipping included) on David Allan Coe's first album (which is actually a blues album haha), and i spent $39 on his "Nothing Sacred" album. i've also been dropping some decent money on Johnny Cash records (i've been getting into the American Recordings albums, i have all of 'em on vinyl except for 2 and 5), and i actually got a used copy of his first album on amazon for $20. and of course when it comes to current country, Hank III is the fucking best, he just came out with a new album and it's pretty fucking sweet. his 2nd album is still my favorite though.
  7. Mine go in reverse chronological order: Tarantula (I can safely say after constant listening for more than a week that this is my favorite) IUSA Phase 3 Storm The Streets S/T haha, that's funny 'cause it's totally in reverse chronological order. Storm the Streets is still my favorite, with Phase 3 coming in 2nd. keep in mind that i haven't fully heard the new one yet. the first one has some amazing songs on it though, but i really don't like the way it sounds.
  8. agreed, there were some decent songs on the album but the one before this album was a lot better. this band is so much fun live, i haven't seen 'em in like 5 years though, i think Plan it X bans have something against Binghamton
  9. i think i saw on the pop-punk board that this is a special release for their Dillinger 4th of July show
  10. this is a really solid album and the production is totally fine.
  11. i need to get this, i'm holding off from pre-ordering from recess though 'cause i feel like Anthem should be coming out soon...
  12. Your friend is a smart man. Stoked on this... and when you fools order this, you might as well pick up some of traffic street's other new releases. they all rip, especially the like bats 7", new creases 7"! Oh yeah the Brokedowns LP is sooooo great! yes, everyone buy the like bats 7", it's great!
  13. this happened when i got a Blood For Blood record from interpunk, they exchanged it and the 2nd one was also too big, so then i ordered another one from Victory on a different color and it was fine
  14. i bought a screeching weasel record from and Italian seller on Gemm and the package arrived fine, it just took a bit longer than usual (at least 3 weeks)
  15. also, the only reason i want the I Will Dare single is because of the Hank Williams cover. i've been listening to Hank III a lot lately and it's fucking amazing
  16. im in the same boat. A few weeks ago i was kinda pissed off because a guy looking at a crate next to me found a copy of "let it be". So frustrating :-/ damn, that must've been a bummer! i got Let it Be and Pleased to Meet Me at a record fair back in 2007. earlier that year i was talking to the bassist of the Ergs and he talked up the band and i decided to check 'em out. I Will Dare and Unsatisfied are my favorite mats songs by Pleased to Meet Me is my favorite album by then. shortly after that i found that the Twin/Tone site had Stink, Hootenany, and Sorry Ma for sale new on their website so i got 'em, 2 of which are on red vinyl
  17. damn, i kinda want that "I Will Dare" 12" but $20 after shipping it kinda pushin it for just 3 songs
  18. awesome, i'm excited for this, i love blood for blood. hopefully the vinyl comes out good, when i ordered Outlaw Anthems from Interpunk on grey the record wasn't cut right, it was a little bit too big and kept getting stuck on my record player, so i had to send it back and i had the same problem with the next one too, then i found it on red on the victory website and didn't have a problem with that one
  19. just listened to "if there's a will..." today, pretty solid album, i don't think i ever heard stories for the big screen though. i remember seeing these guys play here in Binghamton about ten years ago and my friend and i were talking to one of the guitarists while they were setting up and he was really nice, he let my friend play his guitar for a second and my friend started playing "dammit" and he was all "stop you're gunna get us killed!"
  20. actually... i ordered black and didn't get the e-mail, so maybe that does make sense
  21. it's really weird to hear people say that the MTS doesn't sound good, i think Dude Ranch came out sounding way better than EOTS
  22. i got this today and it's great. i love having a lyrics sheet for this that's easy to read! and this record sounds great too, overall i think they did a better job on this than enema
  23. they replied to my e-mail today... "they're all like that. sorry"
