I discovered the Ghostly label about 3 years ago, been one of my favorites ever since. Great service and awesome music.

I guess I'm not as up on my OOP grunge soundtracks as I should be.  My bad.

I think May is supposed to be a 90's female.  Not necessarily electronic.  The message board over there is pretty sure they have it nailed down.  

The new album's variant seems nice, but for the price and general support, I'll be sticking with Ghostly.  That GM variant is gross though.

@TGSNick: I just wanted to take a quick minute to thank you for all the kind words a few pages back.  Like a few others have said, we all really appreciate you being so active on VC and passionate for the label you support.  There are very few representatives from labels that are as outgoing and consistent with their responses as you are, and for that reason alone, it is my pleasure to package all your information into a stylish presentation and keep things updated as best as I can.  Someone willing to keep such a steady line of communication open with VC deserves a centralized thread that is free of cobwebs or jumbled blocks of copy-paste text.

Really appreciate the support, Armadillo! Buying direct and local is always the way to go anyhow

Just also want to say that TGSNick is an absolute hero. Don't think I've ever seen someone so committed to providing great customer support. For that reason, I'd definitely recommend grabbing direct from Ghostly if you can.

I don't know for sure as Com handles that independently, but it's a safe bet.

My take on this is that it's probably a repress using the same plates, so there is essentially no difference in the two pressings. You're right though.

I feel ya Armadillo. I remember a few RSDs back dropping 110 on 3 records, which is ridiculous. This year I'll be on search solely for Rising Tide and maybe Space Jam soundtrack, if it's around. Amazon has been my best friend for purchases online. 3.50 shipping international? C'mon now!

Thanks! It's a shit time to be a Canadian collector, that's for sure: Lousy dollar and steep import charges, especially from the States. Don't know about you but if I order online I now look at Euro and UK sellers before US ones due to shipping alone.

Made an inquiry about SDRE's Rising Tide at my local shop today. Looks like $48 CAD (tax in) for anybody curious from Canada.

Through the Looking Glass is amaaazing. Still waiting for my 2xLP, 45 version.  Excited for this GITS OST too. WRWTFWW is on a roll.

I'm going to lay down the gauntlet and say that if you haven't heard the label's newest re-release, Midori Takada's Through The Looking Glass you don't deserve the GITS OST, since that OST could not exist if it weren't for it. Also because it is one of the best ambient albums of all time (although it's also relentlessly percussive).

I've not worried about RSD stuff in so long. I have been to a few, but that was before I was buying vinyl.
 
I was going to stop a few years back...more like...5 years I think, my daughter wasn't speaking yet...and I saw the line and just laughed....I was downshifting (had a stick then) and then I saw the line and starting shifting right back up..haha.
