  4. hehe.. Run the Jewels' sophomore album RTJ2 came with a preorder package that promised the album would be remixed entirely with cat noises if it was reached. A fan started a kickstarter to reach the $40,000 price tage, and El-P promised to follow through with the project if it was reached, with the proceeds going to charity. Now,Zola Jesus, Danny Brown's in-house producer Skywlkr, and Just Blaze have all promised to contribute production as well. Additionally, Just Blaze will release all the drum kits he used between 2001 and 2005 for free if the goal is reached. more meow the jewels prizes..

  13. At this point Matthew Melton is a household name in the genres of garage rock and power-pop. Melton’s collection of bands includes Snake Flower 2, Bare Wires and most recently Warm Soda. Much like his first solo album ("Still Misunderstood", 2010) this album was recorded over an extended period of time from 2007–2014. For a prolific writer such as Melton, it’s only natural to accumulate a stockpile of songs that never made the cut for another project. Thankfully Melton had the foresight to save these songs for what has become his newest solo record "Outside of Paradise". Fans of Melton’s past and present projects will enjoy this medley of songs ranging from power-pop gems, smooth punk jams and heavy psych hitters. "Outside of Paradise" is the latest addition to Melton’s already phenomenal body of work. This record comes on two different limited colors only available from the Southpaw webstore and the band! THIS IS A PRE-ORDER EXPECTED TO SHIP IN LATE NOVEMBER. LINK http://www.southpawdistro.bigcartel.com/product/matthew-melton-outside-of-paradise-lp there's a /100 version and /200 version (song is on the site)
  14. this album is pretty great.. anyone who wants the UK limited version.. they have some available below. http://rocketrecordings.bandcamp.com/album/commune
  15. I have been waiting on that too. and no BIG LOVE version yet too.. I just went ahead and ordered the DK version. I have ordered a few of their last releases and they all look and sound great.
  16. I have to figure out how I might do it.. since I only have an old school tape player.. hmm suggestions?
  17. I usually buy the Escho version and pay the international shipping but I bet BIG LOVE does .. I might beg my friend in Japan to buy it for me
  18. I bought it and was like oh this is cool. and then after like 10 minutes I felt like maybe my soul hurt... for real.
  19. So I am NOT selling this. I have no interest in cash for this.. I was the NYC guy who got this promo cassette at Rough Trade. if you want proof or see what it looks like. here's my instagram www.instagram.com/recordnerdz I am ideally looking for this: (however I think I might be open to other trades) http://www.discogs.com/World-Is-A-Beautiful-Place-I-Am-No-Longer-Afraid-To-Die-Whenever-If-Ever/release/4773476 I have another version of this LP but I figured that there must be someone out there who must be dying for this cassette and I would rather have the most limited version of the earlier LP.. anyone? PM I guess
  20. I really like this tune too. it's all a bit strange and jarring in a good way.. I think what scares me is it reminds me of Brainbombs. and that shit scares me. for real. like scared.
  21. I'll play... Discogs believes I have about 3478 records of varying sizes. but since i live in NYC and have limited space I have been selling and buying for the last year trying to keep it about this size.. now it has to be a record I love, worth something or something new to stay in my collection.. (also about 5 years I sold almost all 900 of my CD's) I started collecting in / around 94 but mostly 45's then cause it was easier to move every six months like most 20 somethings.. $52,042.82 Median: $74,979.75 Maximum: $112,886.19 (not including items never sold) please do not rob my home.
