  1. GONE - NOFX – Liza and Louise 7” – FatWreck – 1st – Dark Purple / 5000
  2. fair enough. i just thought it was interesting, i think the lighter colors look a bit better for what's it worth. But, I get what your saying, every record is a bit different, so that means every record i own is /1. score. That's going to blow the NOFX kids' minds.
  3. As someone else mentioned the Revelation RSD 7"s (e.g., Youth of Today, Quicksand and Burn) were pressed in two batches, which resulted in slight differences the the colors. I am not sure how the numbers break down (i.e., which is more rare - will leave that to the uber nerds). But, for those who are curious here are some pics... Quicksand - s/t 7" - Dark Blue with dark marbling and a lighter blue with less marbling - Total Press of 1103 Youth of Today s/t 7" - Red and Pink - Total Press of 1350 Burn - s/t 7" - Dark yellow with marbling and light creamy yellow - Total Press of 1090

  5. modified. aren't we in a recession? where's the free is ok by me...
  6. no takers? five shirts for a buck or two apiece. You can gain extra retro cool points for wearing a L t-shirt and not your girlfriend's jeans.
  7. I am moving shortly and cleaning house. I would hate to throw these well loved shirts (see pic below) away so I will give them all away to the first taker - you just pay shipping. The shirts are in various states of wellwornness, as you can see from the pics. They were all bought in the mid/late nineties and are all larges, except for the Dag Nasty Wig Out, which is an XL. I can flat rate out a USPS priority box for $11 beans. If you're on the east coast i can parcel post for about half that. I have some other OG shirts that i may give away/sell too, e.g. split lip, falling forward, no escape, verbal assault, soul brains (bad brains), gang of four (reunion tour), GVSB, Milemarker, Social Distortion, Ensign, etc. and a HWM gas station jacket and some older (mid nineties) skating shirts. Check my haves list for items for sale or trade. I have the PC games Rogue Spear, Age of Empires II, Blade Runner, and Hitman to whomever wants them too. I also have Grim Fandango, but i may try to sell that one. If someone is near PG County MD i have a crappy Gemsound Turntable for the taking, plus a broken Olympus OM-10 35mm Camera as well. More to come...
  8. The FHA loan lets you put only 3.5% down; however, you will pay a monthly premium for it. You can get a conventional loan without putting down 20% - i got one putting 10% down. As the quote above states, there are a lot more hoops to jump through and the underwriters can be sticklers on the inspection. If you can it's usually better to go with a conventional loan. I think it will be cheaper in the long run and sellers usually prefer them. Sellers have been known to turn down higher offers because they had concerns about the lenders (internet banks, etc.) and the type of loan (FHA, silly ARM's, etc.)
  9. there is some good info here. My bid was excepted on thursday, my home inspection (~500) is on wednesday, the appraisal is next week too (~400), and hopefully i will settle by the end of May. Your monthly payment (Principal and Interest) is based on a simple calculation you can pull off the internet. It's based on the loan amount, interest rate and the length of the loan. As an example, given the current rates of 4.875% - you would multiply every thousand dollars loaned by 5.292. On top of the P+I you need to add taxes, which in my area are about $400 a month. If you put down less than 20% you will have to pay mortgage insurance. You can pay off the pay the mortgage and homeowners insurance at closing, which will lower your monthly payment. There will be other things to pay like home inspection, appraisal, title insurance, flood certificate, escrows for taxes, etc. etc. The amount needed in escrow will vary somewhat depending where in the tax year you settle. Depending on what you do, i imagine closing costs would vary from $7,000-$13,000 for a moderately priced single family home in most areas. As mentioned earlier, it is quite common as ask for closing cost assistance. Generally, people ask for 3% of the purchase price, but you can ask up to 6% with most lenders. The transfer taxes are generally split 50/50 between the seller and buyer. I got 6% form the seller because we already know i would have to replace the AC compressor. Some things to keep in mind: The lenders fees (origination fees, underwriting fees, etc.) are negotiable. You can get multiple quotes and play them off each other. You might even be able to haggle a lower interest rate. A good home inspection is worth the money. surprises are ofter costly. if your home doesn't appraise for the assessed tax value you can dispute it to lower you tax bill. This is quite common, especially given the current market. The house i bought was 1/2 the 2009 assessment. Your agent may try to push lenders, title companies, inspectors, insurance agents, etc. on you, but you are free to shop around and pick the ones you want. You should get a nice tax return given that mortgage insurance is tax deductible. It's also common ask for a home warranty from the seller. This will be for the 1st year, you'll have to pay for successive years if you want. It's nice, especially if the appliances are old.
  10. i imagine the water bowl was empty then. You really should keep it filled - dehydration can become a serious issue.
  11. i have had a sansa fuze for nearly two years and it's worked perfectly. However, last week i forgot it was in a my sweatshirt's pocket and washed it - washer and part of the dryer before i noticed the thumping. I was bummed because i though it was toast, but after letting it dry out for a day it still works like a charm. try that with an ipod.
  12. Did anyone else pick this up? I didn't know anything about it until i saw it while on line. The guy behind the counter said there were 500 pressed and he only saw one distributor who had it. it's good. I haven't listened to the specials in a long time. nice.
  13. this guy seems to have plenty of jews... http://shop.ebay.com/heartshapedmilk/m.html?_trksid=p4340.l2562

  16. I'm going straight up to the top, oh yeah up where the air is fresh and clean
  17. got my record today. excellent condition. thanks. If you convert that into canadian it's like 3 and a half thanks.
  18. i can tell you what you have.... One of the best records ever pressed in wax. handsdown. sunup to sundown, sheer balls out awesomeness. Your next task is to pick up Forever and Counting. the mushy mixes are a combo of whatever leftover pellets were sitting around the plant. so usually it's a crapshoot of what comes out and all relative in the grand scheme of things. But, it sounds like you a have pale green, one awesome record on pale green.
  19. Maybe you're right I shouldn't judge What's wrong or right This is too much indeed.
