  1. you can get those from about any staples, office depot, etc. You can get boxes of anywhere from 5 to 100 or more sheets. The ones i use for work (and have printed for records) come with 30 to a sheet. You use a custom setting in word and if you're fancy you can output from a access or other database to your labels...
  2. i am going to keep bumpin' this until i get the validation it so righteously deserves.
  3. I just ripped the songs to mp3 with audacity. They came out pretty good after amplifying - going straight to the sansa. so no one is as excited as me? Come on people, radiohead sound like someone playing a bagpipe made of live cats. this sounds awesome. For all who follow Santa Claus: Prepare to enter Satan's cause...
  4. A Hell Mouth has opened and Crucial Death have finally seen the light on this now infernal day. You can hear six "unreleased" songs on their new facebook page. www.facebook.com/pages/Crucial-Death/194845673860887?ref=ts Crucial Death were the sworn enemies of Crucial Youth and supposedly these songs were slated for a split LP - Good vs. Bad it was up to the Youth of the World to decide. Sadly, i think the coming emo trend (damn you tight pants, thick glasses and out-of-key whiny screaming!) overpowered them both. but, let us take a trip back in time.... Summoned by the Dark Lord himself in the year 1989, a time when the world was ripe for the over-taking by Satan and the Beast, gathering strength from global hatred and war-mongering prevalent at that time. Four minions were gathered in the heart of toxic-waste-ridden New Jersey, and cursed with the evil powers bestowed on them by Satan to produce sinister dirges of despair to unleash upon the unsuspecting masses of humankind. Deep within a secret Satanic temple, a collection of six (yes that's right six as in six-six-six) such masterful works of ultimate evil were produced and readied for mass consumption. Surely, the world was about to fall under the curse of this unholy quartet, and join Satan's forces forever. However, at the final hour, a rogue Sub-Demon, having risen to the almighty position of President of the US after leading covertly for 8 years under his puppet leader, learned of Satan's plot, and seeking to usurp His position of ultimate evil power, he sent forth underlings to quash the release of the recordings, destroying the secret temple and all evidence of the existence of the terrible work accomplished within, ultimately undoing Satan's great and terrible plan, and in so doing, unintentionally undermining his own chances to remain in power. And the world was spared. The Sub-Demon was ousted from power, and a new optimism spread upon the land. Until now....recently unearthed by devoted followers, gaining strength in the wake of economic devastation and war wreaked by none other than the evil offspring of the rogue Sub-Demon, the lost and forgotten evil works of the Dark Lord have been revived from destruction--a lone copy on cassette tape was salvaged from the subterranean ruins of the secret Satanic temple, to finally be unleashed upon the world via the internet. May it speed across the globe spreading its message of DESPAIR! This is CRUCIAL DEATH!!!! .

  6. works like a charm WTF!?! My records play like totally crap after using this. Now they all sound like Macy Gray. thanks jerk.
  7. Those 3 were the only colors and the sleeve for the yellow one was slightly different than the black and blue ones. Jim from CY once told me what the yellow ones were pressed for but it has been so many years I can't remember the story he told me. Sorry, I'll never part with it. I also have the original Crucial Youth demo tape too that they did before the 7" If you get a chance to take a pic i would love to see it. Also, if you are ever looking to sell or trade please let me know. i will more than happy to make an offer. From what i remember 100 were pressed on blue and maybe close to 1000 were on black the united way demo - a nice score. i have also seen at least one tape only comp (of jersey bands). I do have a sealed tape of the posi-machine. here's a pic of CY records minus the blue cover a gig too far. or not if it didn't post. Sometime back in the early 90s Krishna (i believe) told me that there was some unreleased CY material. There was going to be a Crucial Youth vs. Crucial Death Split. You can see the name Crucial Death spray painted on the wall on the cover of the We're and an American Band 7" I want this.
  8. It does. I have one (and also a blue one and a black one) oh i have heard only whispers, but have never seen one. Do you know any info on on the yellow press or any other colors (besides blue and black)? Krishna Jain told me there might be a clear one too. Do you have a pic available? I picked up a blue one a few years ago and got a black one back in the day. I was also lucky enough to score a Crucial Yule test press. If you are even remotely interested parting with it let me know. lets talk.

  10. For some time it was Life's Blood Defiance 7" on combined effort with red labels. I shat the bed on some earlier auctions and when one came up recently i went on a bidding war - paying 2x as much as the last auction. I was kind of busy with work, so it was a 1 1/2 months before i really took a good look and spin it.... and one of the panels of the sleeve was cut out and there were some nice scratches on one side. good times indeed. at the moment. HWM - No Division LP (white wax on Some) or Crucial Youth - Straight and Loud 7" on yellow - it may or may not even exist.
  11. Hot Water Music - Fuel for the Hate Game LP - TEST PRESS of 20 Baroness - First / Second LP - Red The Paragons - Island in the Sun CD House was broken into today, but they left the mail untouched. would have been seriously bummed if they ganked the HWM. seriously.
  12. i have over one million meat spins. that's a world record. Guinness even sent me a plaque. Its hand numbered 1/1.
  13. don't forget citizens arrest. worth the trip just for that!
  14. i don't think they have the internet in Canada.
  15. just got home from work and what do i spy in the mail? Ah, yes the new HWM / Souls split 7". Got is spinning on the turntable as i type. once again it has been proven that Hot Water Music covering your song could only make it better and one's by covering a HWM song it only further proves the awesomeness of the original. it has been said. **** i moved this myself. these damned voodoo machines.
  16. The 2nd picture is the original press from the early 90s. They didn't change the cover for the recent repress? I know they did for the ressurrection 7"
  17. I have never heard this band, nor touche amour, nor have heart, nor a wilhem scream, but i imagine they all sound like stryper.
