  1. they used to live over on commercial ave in new brunswick, had a sweet halfpipe in the garage and everything.
  2. sadly, you probably have a bit of genre mismatch happening. you might have better luck asking for some blink or nofx records. not so much with sheer terror or breakdown. my favorite paul bearer live quote, "you used to make fun of the fat kid, now you're wearing his pants." albeit arguably funnier when kids didn't wear their sister's jeans.
  3. looks like it. However, i picked up mine sometime in the lateish 90's. Is this old stock or is the shirt still in "press?"
  4. since when in internet grammer is needed just a question comma splice no care spelling word for proper use of a semicolon please refer to http://theoatmeal.com/comics/semicolon
  5. well i guess you didn't listen to the recent NPR story then. Tapes are the new vinyl. All the cool kids are releasing stuff on cassettes. Tapes have really trebely thin sound, perfect for hipsters in brookyln i suppose...
  6. sweet, i have some old board shorts too if you want them, even throw in the racing stripes for free. but, seriously i have an old quicksand shirt on my tradelist below. http://vinylcollective.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=sale&action=display&thread=605
  7. i have all presses of the clairmel split and a 1st and 2nd press tomorrow split. I am not looking to drop a lot on the JBD, but if you want to shot me a reasonable purchase price i might entertain it. that said. still plenty of deals out there to be had.
  8. if it means anything i am looking to pick up the where the wild things are comp 12"

  10. some things are moving. more out than in... but let's make something happen.

  12. how much? i've been looking for that album for some time for a decent price. love that band... < 10 bucks on ebay recently. I was surprised it went for that little and was worried i was going to get hosed as it took some time to ship. I think it went for so little because of the poor listing. That is, no mention of red vinyl in the header, no pic of the record itself , said it was in "good" condition, but it was EX/NM, etc. I have scored a few records cheap due to their poor descriptions, particularity for records with multiple pressings with varying "rareness" or "value."

  14. Similarly, i need a new kidney, anyone?
  15. Thanks, I am digging a little deeper these days, cause my pup Alabama tore her ACL and she needs surgery so she can walk right again. It's gonna be about $3k - $4k, and that's not fun... Are they going to be doing a tightrope or TPLO on the cruciate?
  16. werd. i remember the 1st records i ever got. Read along fox and the hound and empire strikes back. "ching", turn the page, oh, billy dee you're a smooth one, ching, boba fett you scamp, ching, luke you sicken me... damn i am old school. thus, every record i own is worth at least $50.
  17. I had a similar issue with my Weezer - Buddy Holly single. I was actually able to remove the piece (after much coercing) and the record plays beautifully now. Don't ask me what it was, but I definitely believe we ran into the same problem. by the by, how did you get it off? When i though it might be a piece of schmutz i was tried using some record cleaner and a brush to no avail. I haven't gone to crazy for fear of scratching it up in the process.
  18. fair enough, it's just under 200 C at nearly 100 tons of force - my hyperbole got the best of me. one thing that i learned semi-recently is that the labels are attached during the pressing, not glued on afterwards...
