In my experiences fixing warped records is kind of hit or miss. Honestly if the records are still in print you may be better off just rebuying them.

you gotta be kidding me. dark forces and power trip immediately come to mind. gloves is usually a good place to catch shows now, but there was this awesome DIY venue called "the majestic dwelling of doom" that i guess got shut down. there's tons of good denton bands, in general. it also seems that there's a punk scene waiting to explode out of there. Do we know each other? Some of my best friends are in Dark Forces and Powertrip.
