It was the correct decision and now I'm dreading how many times I'm going to end up rolling my eyes watching this new Dexter episode. If this new kid ends up killing Dexter and that's how the show ends I'm going to be livid. I wouldn't mind if he ends up getting killed somehow but not by that little twerp. If Deb were to do it that would be ok in my book but they already tried that a few episodes back and she just ended up saving him in the end. Ugh... this show needs to be over already. My brain can't handle the stupidity!

Holy moly that sounds incredible. I loved the way they introduced us to Season 5A by showing that "flash forward" (thanks, LOST) and it sounds like they're going to continue with that style. Why can't other shows be as cool as this one?

Downright silly INDEED. I just want it to end already... And I swear to all that is holy and all that isn't holy for that matter that if Dr. Vogel ends up being the killer and was just toying with Dexter at the beginning of this season I'm going to lose it.

This man has no one else to blame but himself... What's this? A police standoff/hostage situation? Oh cool, let me park my car right next to where it's all happening, roll my windows down, blare some music, walk around with my dog and verbally harrass the police. Then when they want to detain me for being a public disturbance I'll be sure to NOT secure my dog by putting him in said vehicle with the windows down. edit: be sure to read up on the entire story and not just the 2-3 minute video of the end of the incident. The context of the situation is crucial.

Disclaimer: Huge fan of the show since its inception so I'm not trying to troll or anything. But my god... who do they have writing these episodes? I lost count of how many times I rolled my eyes during this season's premiere. So many ridiculous, unbelieveable, contrived, inane and downright idiotic things happening it's enough to make my head explode. I think possibly the biggest cop out was this 6 month passing of time. We all saw how the season ended last year. How exactly did Dexter or Deb not get implicated in La Guerta's death? Did Deb not shoot her with her own gun? Unless they completely disposed of her body how would the police have not figured that out? This show is worse than an old sweater. You start pulling on a loose thread and the whole thing just comes apart. /end old man rant

Even with media mail the 7" by itself came to about $10 for me. That's just too much for two freaking songs. Hopefully I can snag one from another distro or catch them on tour and pick up a copy...

I'm with you on that sentiment. I absolutely loved the ephemeral EP and WWACTN but upon hearing Ataraxia I was pretty darn disappointed. It was way too short and it just felt like the songs weren't quite finished yet. They needed to toy around a bit more in order to make them really shine. Anyways, ordered the clear with the poster (like I need more posters to add to my collection!) along with a grab bag and that last 7" Aeges released. +1 for the sheath!

Wow... I can't imagine many folks at this festival are going to get into KEN mode during their performance. They'll be too busy making sure their ironic sunglasses are situated properly on their face and "looking cool" whilst they lay about around in the grass wasting the day. fyi - I went to pitchfork in 08, 09 and 2010 but after that I was done. Too hot, too crowded and too few bands that I was even remotely interested in.
