Just got mine in the mail. Does the white border make the cover art look wrong to anyone else? Or am I taking crazy pills again?

The ACA was a freakin' compromise in the first place. We should have set up a single payer system but the "big business" insurance companies wouldn't have it so this is what we ended up with. Now that they're getting what they wanted they're acting like the ACA is the plague because the obama administration got it signed into law. They critize Obama even when he uses their own freakin' ideas. It's so stupid it might just make heads explode... IMHO It's not either party's fault in full but I'm with you in that I would put most of the blame on the GOP. You see, they're the ones using extortion as a means of negotiation. I wish the President would just flat out call them "terrorists" but then that wouldn't be very politically correct of him.

It'll never see the light of day but I really wish Choirs of the Eye by Kayo Dot would be released on vinyl. For some reason the label that put it out doesn't do vinyl and doesn't license their releases. So... we're screwed.

I was so excited when I read that they were going to be reissuing their back catalogue. Then I read more details and it mentioned that this album in particular was to be excluded since it was released on Interscope Records. GAH!!!

Let us not forget the Raisin Bran CRUNCH. Not the crappy regular stuff.

I was finally able to snag one of these from Southern Lord. Anyone else have trouble with their site? There's no freakin' checkout button. So I could add it to my cart and then... I don't know, twiddle my thumbs? It wouldn't let me proceed from there. I ended up having to click on "Payment Type: Paypal" and then it finally routed me to ccnow.com where I was able to place an order (without using paypal no less) And as an extra bonus they charged me more than the site's estimated shipping charges! Hooray! Oh well, I really don't care about the extra couple of bucks. I need this album on vinyl darn it!

Seeing that the Cleveland show is on a Saturday I may just have to make a road trip out of this. And I already have pretty much every release of theirs on vinyl so them having any variants at the show is not of my concern. I just want to hear them play live again. It's been over 5 years for me. e.g. LONG OVERDUE! And on a side note... I was watching some youtube video's where Caspian was performing live at various studios or radio stations and there was a particular show in May of this year where Chris Frederich was not playing bass for them. That seemed odd to me. Does anyone know if he had been sick for a while and wasn't able to tour with them? It's as if he was already forced to take a break from the band before he passed away.

For the love of all that is holy... we know HH prices are higher than average. if you don't like it, don't buy it. Give me Quality > Quantity any day of the week. /end complaint about others complaining

I'm kicking myself for only seeing them live once. They did come through Ohio a few more times but it was always a long drive or they were opening for Minus the Bear and I couldn't bring myself to go. Stupid hindsight...

Thank you, sir. For some reason it wasn't showing up on my phone but when I pulled it up on my computer at work it was there. Looks like I'll be working my way through their discography today all the while trying my best not to be too upset about what is unfortunately a fact of life...

That's so sad... This is the first I've heard of his passing. Anyone know what happened or have a link to an article? I'm not seeing anything on facebook but perhaps I'm not linked up to the right profiles.

I really don't care THAT much about this release and I'm sure as heck not going to be in NYC anytime soon. Hopefully when they release a normal version of this I'll be able to snag one. Even then I'm not counting on it :/
