I totally forgot about Killer Joe! I meant to see it when it was in the theatres but I never got the chance. I will be correcting that error now! Another movie I liked that didn't seem to do very well (at least in terms of box office $$$) was Bernie. MM, Jack Black and Shirley MacLaine were all in it. The fact that it was based on a true story only adds to the movie's weird vibe.

Very much looking forward to seeing this. Take Shelter, Jeff Nichols' previous movie, was very intense and psychologically stimulating. And a 98% on rotten tomatoes ain't too shabby either.

I was able to upgrade to an HTC EVO 4G LTE (ridiculous name) for about $20 through amazon wireless. I had the regular EVO 4G before that. Perhaps I'm just used to the HTC style but I really do like their phones. The HTC ONE looks freaking awesome. If I'd been willing to pay more for a phone that's probably the one I'd go with. My girlfriend bought a Samsung Note 2 recently and she loves it. Although before that she had an old crappy blackberry so upgrading from that anything will look nice. I really like how it comes with a stylus so you can write directly onto the screen and it translates it into text for you. Some people might not like how big it is but I don't really find it to be that problematic.

Ended up working overtime on Saturday and didn't make it out to a record store. However, that didn't stop my from dropping like $115 in the DW estore. They had a lot of stuff that I'd been meaning to pick up for a while now and with 20% I couldn't go wrong... Then for some reason my purchase must have set of an alarm with my bank. I got an email, two text messages AND a voicemail asking for me to verify that I had made a purchase through them. I've bought things from them before and it never set off any alarms. I'm really not sure why it did this time.

That could really go either way. Perhaps you could email an offer and see if you get a reply. It's worth a shot...

Has anyone ever tried using Chase's quick pay option to transfer money? My friends and I use it all the time. There are no fees but the only catch is that both of you have to be banking with JPMorgan Chase. They're evil but I've learned to live with it.

That's weird. My copy of UYHS (white) has two side A labels on the first LP. Either way... totally stoked to finally have both of these on vinyl. Prepaying for HH's next slew of record releases was one of my better decisions. I didn't even have to leave the house except to go to the mailbox!

Just finished building my first gaming PC a few weeks ago. Been playing a mix of Starcraft 2, TF2 and the lovely Bioshock Infinite.

That's probably the best way to describe that photo. At first I saw the version that was cropped where it only shows above his knees. Then I saw the uncensored one and my stomach just turned sour immediately. I don't think I'll ever get that image out of my head. I can't even imagine how much bloddlosss would be involved in that kind of situation. I can only hope they got him to an emergency medical team and that he's alright.

While it saddens me that something evil like this can happen it at least gives me some reassurance to know that there are still good people out there in the world.

They sure are playing fast and loose with the story now (re: Theon). Word on the street is that they've also made some pretty major changes to the story that we'll see by the end of this season. I have a feeling it has something to do with the fact that on the show Robb marries "Talisa" instead of Jeyne Westerling.

For some reason I never had much of a mental image for Ramsay. I'm a big fan of the site towerofthehand.com and this is the picture they have for Ramsay: As for reading the books... other than having some of the story spoiled by the show there will be plenty of time until the series is over. GRRM still has two books left and it took him like 10 years to put out the last two. So yeah, it's going to be A WHILE.

Can't freakin' wait to blast this at full volume. HH FTW!

If you consider Game of Thrones to be the best show on TV then you really, really, ought to read the books. At least the first three in the series. So far there have been five books released with two more to go (according to GRRM anyway). I hadn't read a book (other than something assigned for school) in probably over a decade. Probably even longer than that yet once I got started with these books I could not stop and read all of them within the span of a couple months. Highly addicting and highly recommended.

I feel like the kid in class who didn't read the assignment the night prior. So now the teacher is an hour into the lecture and I have no idea what's going on. Also, too lazy to look anything up on Wikipedia. It's monday for crying out loud!!

Yeah, I saw that thread. But with this one I'm being asked a specific question! Amazon uploaded 23 albums to my "cloud" and I didn't have to do a damn thing except for log in to the cloud player. Well played, Amazon.
