Cool for you!!  Got mine in today and ordered it right after you made the post and mine wasn't signed.  

Just got my copy of the 50 blue ones DFA received. DFA got them signed which was a cool surprise. Also Nancy is naked inside the gatefold. That was surprising as well.

If you click on your tracking link, it also mentions that they included $50 Insurance for these, so they must really hope they don't get damaged.  Maybe these things are pretty fragile based on how they were designed (based on the mockup).  They'll be shipped priority, so whomever gets theirs first, please help us all out and post pics!

Few comments:

 

* So what was originally released in Europe as a 2LP set has now been pressed as a 3LP Triple Gatefold Set (with the same tracklisting)

* Limited and hand-numbered first pressing out of how many copies?  Would the 2nd press not be on the "all-american" red, white and blue colors and just black?

* To be frank with the all star lineup of artists (Elvis, Beach Boys, CCR, Dylan, Doors, etc.), I would have thought that the licensing would have been more and this would have been priced in the Anchorman 2 or Secret Life of Walter Mitty price range, so I am not too horrified by the price.....but I'm still not ordering it.

@rain of frogs I don't know for sure....but if other people who pre-order the record both before and after him have not received shipping notification.....why would they ship only one copy out?!

 

Who said they only shipped one copy out?   All we know is that it appears that they (Merchnow) wanted to ship out overseas packages first.  Given that there were 120 available, I can't think that too many overseas people got this.  But if anyone else on the board ordered this and is not in the USA, please speak up.  Other labels (e.g TMR) have sent overseas stuff out first before, so it isn't like this hasn't been done before.  Maybe they are trying to time it so everyone gets them around the same time?  Who the hell knows.   At least we have some hope that this isn't vaporware and will actually hit before 2016 (crossing fingers)

Will be making a purchase for sure, everything Dallas does is a sure winner!

SRC announced via their e-mail list that on either Monday or Tuesday they are going to announce another major soundtrack release on vinyl celebrating its 20th Anniversary (following up on the Clerks announcement from this week).
