  1. they still do that? they are awesome. i haven't ordered from them in a while. it was always nice to see them throw in a button, poster or sticker. but seeing airheads always made me smile. great label who has has always been good with pressing vinyl. the new braid ones are proof of that. now they just need to work on a rainer maria compilation off non-lp songs. and the s/t ep. oh and get the rights to press their last album that wasn't on polyvinyl.
  2. Good choice, a properly run football club. Welcome to a world of crushing disappointment and uncertainty. You now are obliged to hate Tottenham. This is a good Arsenal blog to read, enjoy! http://www.oleole.com/blogs/arseblog when i started following arsenal, which i think i just finished my 5th full season, it was because nick hornby is one of my favorite authors and read fever pitch and then saw the movie. my friend who has been a fan a little longer calls me the jinx because since i became a fan they haven't won a single trophy. oh and i will also agree with the disappointment. you will see him outplay the other team, have a lot more possession time of the ball, and take more shots. but won't come away with as many wins as they should.
  3. i got the jade tree newsletter earlier today saying it already was.
  4. i have been saying the same thing for years. luckily i bought the jets to brazil and promise ring lp's when they came out. but i know a lot of people who would love to see those repressed. the only thing i never bought when it came out that i would have wanted was the owls lp. back then i wasn't buying everything on vinyl like i am now. they should also take notice from this cap'n jazz release and try to put together a promise ring compilation. i have all those old 7"s but would love to see horse latitudes (probably my favorite of theirs) pressed as a 12" or even a new one with all the non-album songs.
  5. yeah and i was at waterloo in austin 30 minutes before opening and over 100 people were already in line. i asked if they had any more because i was shocked they were gone by the time i got in, but the employee said they had less than 10. and waterloo seemed to have received almost every release for the day, but pretty much everything was cleared out by the time i got inside.
  6. Ok I know I've never really posted on here before, but add me to the people that would love to have one. I could send the money through paypal right away. Just sucks because we got there 20 minutes early and there were already over 100 people waiting in line. I guess that's the downside to your favorite store getting ranked the 2nd best indie record store in the country. I asked if they had anymore and told me they got less than 10.
