this is what i'm thinking...anyone that was gonna buy this album would have bought it when it came out...a year ago...it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. i guess their hardcore/collector fans will buy it but i can't see them not losing money on this, especially given it's a 3 x LP

i agree, i hate that people drive drunk and it's terrible, but i can't not feel bad for someone dying. i'm sure if he had killed a family or something like that it would be easier to not feel sorry for him for whatever reason, but it's hard to just say "he had it coming"

your let down list is the strangest. this is the first non-absolutely glowing thing i've read about defeater, and i'm definitely in the "it's fucking amazing" camp. and the first really negative thing i've read about the wonder years, but to each his own. my favorites would be defeater, elway, how dare you, red city radio, restorations (amazing album), and the wonder years, and i can say with some degree of confidence that the new heartsounds will be on this list as well as for let downs i agree with the OP about the forthcoming set your goals album. i'm legitimately scared about how bad it might be. i think that's the only major let down so far

i dunno i've heard that it's the pressing plant's fault, but i dunno...all the stories of sending the wrong colors and people not getting theirs when other people have, i dunno that can't be the only issue... disclaimer - i've ever ordered from p and p myself so stories are all i have to go by. I'm actually glad i never have because i can buy the RCR lp tonight when i see them and skip all this nonsense, and get it faster than half the people that ordered it months ago
