  1. Last bump - going up tomorrow unless someone PMs me.
  2. Heyo! Just trying to whip up some money for the holidays. Minus the Bear - Highly Refined Pirates, first press, black vinyl. The vinyl itself is in immaculate condition, no scratches, hisses or pops. The sleeve has some visible ringwear (it's white, ugh). Additionally the corners each have a small ding and there are a couple of creases at the top. Just trying to be honest about the condition, but I would definitely wouldn't say that this cover is "trashed" or "beat up". But if you want a record in pristine condition then this ain't for you. Just throwing this out there for offers. There is one up on eBay right now for $80 although I am certain that sleeve is nicer than mine. Word, Cx
  3. Interested in Unsane - Scattered, Smothered & Covered. Check my list for trades?
  4. Found the first Nashville Pussy LP yesterday!
  5. Worst live band I've ever seen. And I've seen Good Charlotte.
  6. http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160512892173&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT Ending soon. Someone should have jumped on this when it was posted here for $150 ppd. : Anyone go to their show in Calgary when they were doing the Warped Tour and the singer drank so much he couldn't play or sing? What a dick. That song where he sounds like Geddy Lee is pretty badass though. But what was up with that comic book? I prefer Herman.
  7. Yeah, I know it's a lot. I saw another one in similar condition, same colour that went for $150 on Popsike recently. Just put it in on eBay so NM y'all.
  8. NOW ON EBAY! EXCITEMENT! http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160512892173&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT Coheed and Cambria - In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3. Double LP, black vinyl, limited to 400.
  9. Fucking fuck. Shipping is still $16 from Vacation. Ass.
  10. I just did an interview with George Pettit for Planet S Magazine: PS: So what was the impetus for releasing the Dog’s Blood EP, which was self-described as experimental? GP: I don’t think it was any more experimental as any of other records before. I think it was definitely experimental in the format. We had a concept for it, which were these two fast songs that we wrote on the road and an instrumental track we wrote during the Old Crows sessions. And we came home from the road and wrote another song. I think as far doing things that are experimental, the EP is an easier format to do those sorts of things than a full-length record. You aren’t under a lot of scrutiny when you do them. And that was key to the Dog’s Blood EP – we didn’t over think anything we did. We wrote the songs, we did the artwork and we booked the studio for two days and that was that. We just wanted to get it out. We didn’t need any big booming radio choruses. We weren’t reinventing the wheel by any means. We were just listening to a lot of fast and heavy, stonery kind of stuff.
  11. Any of his material that isn't readily available should be made so.
  12. Yeh, no kidding, I'd love to nab that Mooney Suzuki album.
  13. Looking for 10" Church Of Misery - Murder Company
  14. These guys say no. http://singlepieceslate.com/faq/ Maybe it's on a lathe-by-lathe basis? Thanks for the link! Definitely cheaper than PJ Mansion if you want to do a few more....
  15. I can sympathize with any band that gets gear ripped off while on the road, but you might want to post a few more details - this reeks of sketch.
  16. So my buddy got married and for a present I got him a lathe cut 7" vinyl of his (our) band. Best present ever. Check out pics/story here - http://roadtripsandrecords.blogspot.com/2010/11/slow-down-molasses-hazy-summer-days.html Anyway, has anyone else here ever gotten lathe-cut records? They aren't exactly cheap and I am wondering if anyone has used someone that is cheaper than PJ Mansion (http://www.pjmansionvinyl.blogspot.com/). Xmas is coming up and these make awesome one of a kind presents...
  17. It's too bad you never listened to that Elevator album. It's kind of awesome.
  18. Trying to decide about that Black Tusk still... but definitely getting this.
