  1. Hmm... perhaps this was mine? Ha! In any case I really like #2 - it's really clean looking but I think what I like best about is that it is "unexpected" if that makes sense - I found the rest to be a little too predictable.
  2. I love this band but RE: the no fades, it sounds like they've taken their self-indulgences to a new level.
  3. Totes! One of the reasons I asked if the runners-up could be posted is because I know that label people and bands troll these boards quite frequently. I contributed thinking that there was the possibility of getting work noticed by these people. So hopefully if you contribute and don't win you will still get something out of the deal.
  4. I think it wouldnt be fair if we posted what has already been done before the deadline! We will definitely post what we got submitted after Wednesdays deadline! Maybe we will select a few we like and have you guys vote on the final one Well that's pretty much what I meant!
  5. A Slice Of Lemon maybe? I can't remember. I should go down and check it out soon. Maybe it's worth something...
  6. Heh, there is a Lookout comp test press in a local store here for $14. I think its been sitting there for over a year now.
  7. Totally entering. Also, I would be really interested in seeing the "honourable mentions".
  8. Yeah, the ebay rating really bugs me. But yeah, ordered $100 worth of LPs and the package never came. And they never responded to emails. Boo.
  9. I recall seeing photos of the test-pressings for this a few months ago...
  10. I saw Metz open for No Joy in Montreal a couple months ago - they blew every other band off the stage. Can't wait for a full-length.
  11. Damn. Wish I got in on this sooner. My test pressing of Big Business - Head for the Shallow could use some screenprinted love. Also, I'd love to see some more of your work. I'm a bit of a screenprinter myself and always dig checking out other people's work. Do you have a portfolio or an Etsy shop?
  12. Were all copies shipped without shrink wrap? Mine came without shrink wrap from Interpunk and the cover suffered for it.
  13. Courtney needs her shoes! http://www.indianexpress.com/news/courtney-love-had-no-money-for-shoes/576714/ BWAHAAHA! +1 Yeah, I mean it is pricey but like I said, every other version of this record is expensive. And it bothers me more thinking about people buying shitty bootlegs for $40 on eBay when they could get a legit version for $30.
  14. Finally, a reissue that is actually a best case scenerio - a seminal album that is cheaper than the shitty bootlegs flooding the market.
  15. After reading The Road I felt weird for days. Not so much after the movie... Also, why are we talking about Cormac McCarthy? I feel like there is some connection I'm not getting. Either way I am super stoked that this finally is getting released. I actually listen to this album more than any Lucero album.
  16. I"ve got this: BURNING LOVE - Demos - black vinyl with feltweave cover, limited to 100 BURNING LOVE - Don't Ever Change - blue/white mixed colored vinyl, limited to 200 Make an offer!
  17. I actually really liked this album a lot. I appreciate the Melvins' entire discography from the classics to the weird shit to their newer stuff. And in my opinion this album rates up there as some of their finest, most interesting work. But I think a lot of this has to do with seeing them live twice this summer while they were touring on these songs, so who knows...
  18. I'd hit it for that price, although I haven't seen it yet either.
  19. Have you tried playing Circle Jerk's Group Sex for your kids? If you do, take pictures of their facial expressions. It will mess them up for years but someday they can look back on it and laugh.
