I want to try Roscoe's so bad. There's a place in Houston called The Breakfast Klub that has AWESOME chicken and waffles. The chicken was probably the best fried chicken I've ever had, period. So good.

www.steamworksbrewing.com This place in Durango, Colorado called Steamworks mainly specializes in beer, (the steam engine lager was really good) but they also have a kickass root beer, definitely some of the best I've had. I go through root beer phases, too, it's weird.

Thrice at Stubbs or Bridge 9 tour at Walter's in Houston? I can see the bridge 9 tour the day before at Emo's in Austin, but seeing that tour at Walter's would be a BLAST. And Thrice plays Houston, but if everything goes according to plan I'll be at Fest on that day. Decisions, decisions.

Doing something for work is not the same as getting something for free. You're an idiot. The point is, he was accusing me that I was taking money out of their pockets, when in fact I have done no such thing. I've actually put money IN their pockets by purchasing their releases, going to their shows, buying merch. Me downloading this album early isn't me saying "hey, so that money I've given you over the years, I'm going to need some of that back" it's me saying "cool, I get to hear it sooner!" and then waiting to buy a physical copy once it is available. That first comment was a little off, and sorry about that, but he didn't have to be so damned condescending about everything.

No offense, but... says the guy who hears everything early and for free. I see this band live EVERY time they come anywhere near me, I have bought every single one of their releases, and will be buying this when it comes out. I don't feel too bad for hearing it early. Please stop telling me I'm taking money out of their pockets.
