I'm going to Texas A&M getting my bba in Management. The school blows (well, it's actually really good, but the people suck real hard), but with Austin and Houston both about an hour and a half away plus the fact that I'm almost done it's somewhat bearable.

November 19th is International Men's Day. Can't wait!

I heard that Mess with Texas might not be in Waterloo, but apparently Gwar and Andrew WK are playing. Don't know how much truth there is to that, but if it's true it's going to be awesome

well no, but that's the best thing to look forward to. i'm not taking him to stubbs. i'm taking him to lockhart... the place we're going is one of the best in texas. but i'm gong to take him a few other places too on sunday...since saturday is a no go for me till 9:15pm. I've heard there's just like a row of outstanding bbq place after outstanding bbq place in Lockhart. The Salt Lick currently holds 1st place in bbq in my book, though. So. Fucking. Good.

What do you know about a Smoke or Fire day show?

FRIED TURKEY I'm actually never sure what we're having for Thanksgiving, I just kinda show up at my aunt's house and eat. It's usually some variation on potatoes, green bean casserole, dressing, and pumpkin and chocolate pies. But it's always delicious.

The Swellers played on February 11th at Emo's in Austin last year, with AWS and Streetlight. I only remember the specific date because it's the day before my birthday. I really there was a different headliner, I don't want to turn 21 to Motion City Soundtrack. Oh well.

Definitely. My friends and I never wouldn't have found it if we didn't run into some drunk guy who went to UF ten years ago on the corner of 13th and Union and he knew exactly where to go. It was really lucky, even though he would say "all right it's just a left up here, through the lawn and one more block and we're there!" like 16 times. But at least we got there. What was that at the end of The Swellers' set? Seemed kinda rock starish.

The songs I heard at Fest were kinda eh. So I'm scared to listen to them on record if I couldn't even dig them live.

That set ruled so hard

So I have a room to stay in, but since there are so many people staying in the room the guys who got it already allocated all the hotel wristbands, so I was asking anyone on here who is staying there and might have an extra wristband or 3 for the hotel if they wouldn't mind hooking it up - I can even throw a little cash your way thanks

I liked it, thought it was totally overhyped though. Definitely not the scariest movie of all time. It barely stayed with me like I thought it would.
