I'll be picking up the blu-ray at some point. Blu-ray definitely doesn't look weird. It looks pretty amazing. That is pretty lame that they didn't offer the directors cut on DVD.

Chasing Amy is a great movie. I never had a problem the ending. A few of my friends did though. They were so bummed. Mallrats is my favorite Kevin Smith film. I thought Zach and Miri was terrible, but I loved Clerks 2.

I've yet to see "Seventh Seal". I guess I should probably get around to it someday. My all-time favorite movie would have to be "Dazed & Confused".

I'm on episode 9 of Carnivale season 2. I finished season 1 in two days. Such a great show. I'm bummed it got canceled, especially since I'm assuming alot of the storyline isn't gonna get resolved. The show was scheduled to go 6 seasons.

Hendo is gonna keep pounding the guy til the ref steps in. That's what fighters are trained to do. Pretty brutal though. Bisbing did come off as a real jerk leading up to that fight. Both guys have completely different personalities. That was a pretty big step up in competition for Bisbing. He hasn't really beaten anyone of note besides Chris Leben.

It's Wes Anderson, so I'm definitely excited. The Royal Tenenbaums is among my all-time favorite movies. Rushmore, Bottle Rocket, and Life Aquatic are all great as well.

if he has that experience then why doesnt he use it...everyone i was with watching that fight agrees with me that he's not a very good wrestler...unless your definition of wrestling is laying on top of someone... He does use his wrestling. He's obviously not going to "pin" the guy, since that won't get you too far in MMA. He took down Mir basically anytime he wanted to. That's a wrestling skill. He was basically on top of Mir the entire fight. That's using his wrestling. Most wrestlers use the "ground and pound" technique. Take your opponent down, stay on top and in control, and smash their face with punches and elbows. Guys like Matt Hughes, Tito Ortiz and Randy Couture made careers out of this style. I can't stand Lesnar. I was rooting for Mir in Saturdays fight, but Mir was totally dominated. His face was a bloody mess. He couldn't get out from under Lesnar, and it wasn't just cause Lesnar is a big guy(Mir's not exactly tiny). It's because Lesnar is a great wrestler.

He's a world class wrestler (former NCAA Champion). It might be boring to watch, but you can't say he doesn't have any skill. Wrestlers have proven to be some of the best MMA fighters. He is a total asshole however.

Neither of them is bad, I just always assumed they had one singy and one screamy. Having two seems a bit odd, but yeah, it's their band. They used to have one singy and one squeeky, but the squeeky one is a man now and no longer squeeks.

True, but would you have rather had them lose 3 - 0? At least they put up a fight. 99% of the teams in the world would lose to Brazil.

I was referring to a poster from Hungary earlier in the thread and comments I'd been reading on other message boards. Congrats. Brazil was definitely the best team in this tournament.

I have no problem with losing to Brazil. I did have a problem with all the people saying the Tournament was meaningless and the big teams didn't care and weren't playing their best players. You could tell by their reactions that Brazil obviously cared.

Good match. You can't tell me Brazil didn't care. They were going nuts!
