I know Var already covered this but I got mine today and it looks more translucent blue than red or purple. Check it out! -

I love this record but the recording quality is so terrible that I have no desire to own it on vinyl. -

The sample song rules, had to do it since I missed out on the original. Solid deal! -

Don't worry, if your show is like the one I saw you'll be able to catch that nap during their set. -
Probably because the fidelity quickly degrades and no one has cassette players anymore i.e. the same reason AOL doesn't give away inundate you with installation discs anymore.

PO Thursday No Devolución Up at Kings Road
popquizkid replied to chaz725's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Just got this from King's Road "We just wanted to give you a heads up that due to incorrect information, KRM's 500 piece exclusive of Thursday's "No Devolucion" is on WHITE vinyl, not the clear we advertised and you previously purchased. This print run is still limited to only 500 pieces. It's still almost sold out. It's still the same great music by the same great band. We just wanted to let you know this as soon as possible. Thanks for your order and your support. Sincerely Kings Road Customer Support" Make sense. I was wondering how the etching would come across on clear vinyl anyway. -
on warped a few years back my booth was next to theirs for about 1.5 weeks... you had to spend at least 15 dollars to get a wrist band to wait in like to have them sign something.... and nothing was like less than $10... so you had to spend $20 min... and then they made everyone wait around for an unnanounced signing time.... and NO PICTURES ALLOWED... it was super pathetic... we started yelling at them about it. lamest shit ive ever seen from a band on warped I've worked on the tour and the no pictures thing makes sense. When you have thousands of kids lined up for a 20 minute signing, taking pictures is what makes things move much more slowly. Plenty of bands do this and i wouldn't slight Coheed for allowing as many fans as possible to meet them. I wasn't there for the wristband situation so I can't speak on whether that's true or not.

When you say marginally successful do you mean Grammy-nominated comedian Patton Oswalt or are you referring to Zach Galifinakas who is hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend? -

No one is forcing anyone to buy anything. It's Henry's site and he can do whatever he wants. It would be one thing if this wasn't clearly marked before purchasing but it is so I don't see where all this confusion is coming from. -

Also Fucked Up will have a G-rated cover of a GG Allin song on the upcoming 7-inch "Rated GG" which will be available if you pledge $75 or more to WFMU during the Best Show On WFMU from 9 - 12 over the next two Tuesdays. It will also feature Ted Leo, Mountain Goats and Ben Gibbard. I didn't know if this warranted another thread because the price is pretty steep but you also get a poster and a shirt and support the best freeform radio station in the country! -

As one of those weirdos who actually listens to their records, I can attest that my green copy sounds great.
