  1. I am guessing that anyone who actually buys one of these is either going to keep it or flip it for a ton of $$$$$$$$.
  2. Well if you want them to stop pressing an album that they make money off, maybe you should think of the repercussions it would have for their label because they would be the most affected by that decision. I agree with Travis, if there's a demand for a record that keeps selling there's no point in putting it out of print for no reason. Maybe no one else is posting other albums because the premise of this thread is really counterproductive and pointless.
  3. Yeah, let's not support No Idea Records! Who do those jerks think they are by putting out great records at reasonable prices?
  4. two swirls? have you decided what type of private jet you are going to buy yet?
  5. Maybe they accidentally had this mistaken for a Hole LP?
  6. Personally I waited years to hear those Clarity demos and was really pleased with "Total Clarity." I had no idea that the band had recorded the "White Crosses" stuff with Warren or the acoustic demos so I think it'd be really interesting to hear how the album changed after George joined the band. I understand that AM! has gotten into the habit of re-releasing material in some ways, but from a fan's perspective I think it's actually cool how they've been releasing demos and that kind of stuff on vinyl and wish more bands I really care about would do that. Just my opinion, I totally understand that it's not for everyone.
  7. I think this would be really interesting to hear. If you're not into, don't buy it, no one is forcing you to do anything.
  8. You obviously didn't grow up in the Internet age. What's this "effort" thing you speak of?
  9. Yeah they have made it clear these are covers. If you don't realize that at this point, it's certainly not the band's fault.
  10. I can't believe what a jerk RJ is for putting out a record that people want!
  11. Travis, can you let us know what the sound quality is like on these if you get a chance?
  12. I agree the cord seems thin but I've had the s4's for over a year and used them daily and it's stayed intact far better than my etymotic or apple headphones. I think the biggest thing when it comes to these buds, or any really, is to make sure when you remove them you pull from the bud and don't yank on the cord.
  13. I have the s4's and love them. Actually just bought a pair of s4i's too cause they have a built in mic and iphone controls and since I'm freaked out about all these radiation articles.
  14. Yeah Blind Melon totally pulled it off. Those guys are HUGE now.
  15. No problem, I agree it's a little pricey but I couldn't pass this up either. Will be curious to see how many of these were pressed on blue and what is considered "limited edition" for a band who have as many fans as Wilco.
  16. http://wilco.kungfustore.com/category/27-pre-orders/product/3000-i-might-7-wil420 Wilco I Might b/w I Love My Label Limited Edition Blue 7" Vinyl (WIL420) Here it is: the debut release from Wilco's very own label, dBpm Records. It's a 7" single featuring, you guessed it, Wilco doing a rockin new tune called "I Might" and on the b-side, covering the oh-so-appropriate Nick Lowe-penned "I Love My Label." And the Wilco store is the only place you can get it on limited edition clear blue vinyl. Very cool. Very rare. A digital download of both tracks is included in every sleeve and we'll make "I Might" available for instant download through your store account before July 1st. A side: I Might B side: I Love My Label Limit of one per person.
  17. Mine is like the one in the bottom right. Totally puke-colored. I'm into it!
