This is the place to go for headphone amps. http://www.head-fi.org/ The only downside of Head-Fi is that they tend to latch on to flavor of the month products, but they are generally very helpful. There is also a huge emphasis on beginner headphones and amps (generally in the $200+ range).

Funny thing is i actually thought about not bumping this anymore this morning but figured one last bump couldn't hurt. Either way bumping this is nowhere near as bad as the idiots who bring back 6-12 month old threads. True. It just gets my hopes up that the pre order is ready every time I see this thread bumped.

I will definetly be buying this compilation though, awsome!! Numero Group is an amazing label...you should definitely check out their other Eccentric Soul compilations if you're into this sound. Topnotch music and packaging. There are some really amazing tracks by groups that are/were virtually unknown. Also, no one actually knows who was in Penny and the Quarters. The Numero Group people have actually been trying to track them down and compensate them for the song's recent spurt in popularity.
